Mikoto woke up in a house that was large and heavily decorated. There was little to no lighting and a lot of noise was coming from outside.
Mikoto got up, drowsy from her sleep like state. The noise was like the sound of a party on the outside of the house, accompanied by shouts and screaming. Confused, Mikoto made her way towards the front door of the house.
"Oi! Mataro! You little shit! Get back here!" A familiar voice shouted.
"It will make money in a few years as long as it isn't opened!" A boyish voice yelled back, clearly panicked.
Mikoto felt joy rise in her chest as she remembered the first voice and pinned a name to it. "Ryuko." Mikoto whispered hoarsely.
Mikoto quickly opened the door, revealing a family of four and Ryuko Matoi standing in the large yard. The family stopped moving when they saw the door open. They stood like soldiers in a line as each of them had a bead of sweat begin to form on their foreheads. Ryuko stopped chasing the small boy and stared at the girl with maroon hair who had just exited the large mansion.
The family noticed the girl did not belong and began to huddle together, whispering about what they should do.
Ryuko stood straight up, revealing her white outfit with blue stripes and gold shoulder pads and her rainbow streak in her hair. "Oi! Who the hell are you?"
Mikoto stuttered. "R-Ryu. You d-don't remember me?"
"Who said you could call me anything like that? I don't know who you are or why you were in my family's house, but I will get rid of you quickly and efficiently." Ryuko said with a composure that Mikoto had never seen before.
"Wait, I don't want to fight you." Mikoto said as she raised her hands. "I'm sorry about being in your home Mr and Mrs. Mankanshoku."
"These idiots are not my family." Ryuko said. "They are simply pigs in human clothing!"
On the last syllable, Ryuko raised her hand to the blue arm band on her left arm, flipping them as she did. There was a bright light as Ryuko activated Jenketsu's life fiber override.
"Ryuko, I don't want to fight." Mikoto said as Ryuko pulled out a red scissor blade.
"You should have thought about that before you entered the Kyriun household." Ryuko growled, launching herself at Mikoto.
Mikoto moved out of the way, just in time for Ryuko to blast through the doors. "What!? Isn't your last name Matrix?" Mikoto asked confused.
"Matrix?!" Ryuko shouted. "Do you mean Matoi!? As in Isshin Matoi!? That worthless excuse of a father!? Ha. Wait til Satsuki and Nui hear this!"
Ryuko rammed the back of her sword into Mikoto's stomach, sending her flying into a shack, also known as the Mankanshoku household, where the servants lived.
Mikoto groaned and felt something cold against her neck. "You would have thought that someone who had the nerve to trespass on Kyriun land would have enough common sense to be able to fight back." A drop of blood slid down Mikoto's neck, staining her Tokiwadai uniform, as Ryuko applied pressure.
A sudden bolt of electricity blasted through Ryuko, sending her into the air. Mikoto got up, pulling a coin out of her pocket.
