Mikoto glared at the family of Kyriuns. They all smirked back, throwing Mikoto into a worse rage.

"WHAT THE HELL!!!!???" Mikoto screamed. "Why the hell would you let someone get killed! Innocent people no less! WHY!?"

Ryuko sighed. "You seem to have this very useless misconception upon me. You think that I care about human life. You think that a creature that is no more than a pig is worthy of my mercy. I am a Kyriun, I don't care about humans, I don't hand out mercy quickly or freely. That is why, you will be killed today."

Mikoto clenched her fist, sparks shooting from her bangs. "I know you. I know that you were left by your first real family member. I know that you cried when your father was murdered. I know that you would secretly cry over Senketsu." Mikoto looked up. "I know that you aren't yourself right now. And, I know that you can be normal again."

"Shut up." Ryuko said.

"You know that something is odd in this world." Mikoto continued.

"Shut up!" Ryuko said louder.

"You and I we're friends. And, I-" Mikoto was cut off by a sharp pain exploding through her stomach. She knew what happened, even before she looked down.

A red scissor blade had been stabbed into her gut. The person holding it, was Ryuko Kyriun. No. Mikoto thought to herself. This is Ryuko Matoi. I forgive her, she didn't mean for this to happen. A dark haze began to fill Mikoto's vision as blood dribbled from her chin.

Mikoto slouched forward, wrapping her arms around Ryuko. Tears mixed in with her blood on her face. "Ryu. I'm sorry. Satén and Uiharu wanted me to be their savior...*cough*...I wanted to save you. PLEASE FOR GIVE ME!!!" Mikoto shouted with the last of her energy.

Ryuko pulled her sword from Mikoto's stomach, allowing her to fall to the floor.

"Please...don't leave me Ryu." Mikoto whispered as she bled out on the floor. "I want...I don't want to die alone. Please...Ryu. Stay with me."

Ryuko let out a disgusted laugh. "You think you deserve my presence? Just to comfort you!? You and I were never friends. Those girls that were just disciplined were also not your friends. They were using you. Now shut up you pig in clothing."

Ryuko turned on her heel, her back to the dying girl on the floor. "Come on Mako."

A petite girl with a brown bowl cut appeared from the corner of the room. "Yes Ma'am!"

Mikoto stared at the two, her brain clouded by the black haze. Mako?

"See? Friends are nothing but traitorous. She is the reason we found you all so quickly. And, when it came time, she helped murder her own family...she even gave me the location of that traitor Gamagori."

Mikoto felt herself losing consciousness, she felt the pain begin to disappear, even her anger started to disipate. I'm dying. I never got to say goodbye to Kuroko. That stupid pervert. And the other pervert too. Why? Why am I here? Gekotas. I see Gekotas.

Misaka Mikoto let out one shuddering breath, her last one. Her eyes shut, her face became content as a small tear rolled down her face, free of the blood and pain of the rest of that day.

Ryuko stared at the fugitive, feeling happy because of her death.

Mikuru stood in the door way, watching the scene play out. She felt a little disgusted. Even she follows the last wishes of the people she kills. She began to question the Ryuko she idolized.

Mikuru shook her head and left, not being needed anymore.
