Ryuko walked down the hallway with Nui Harime trailing behind.

"Ryu Ryu, I'm sorry!" Nui said, clinging onto the angry Ryuko. "I didn't know what was going on!"

"Nui." Ryuko said, stopping in the middle of the hall. "If I am covered in blood, it means that I am probably busy!"

Nui whined and continued down the hall after the angry girl. "Are you going to tell mother?"

Ryuko nodded, not faltering in her stride as she reached a door at the end of the long hallway. She knocked.

"Come in!" A female voice said. Ryuko straightened and opened the door. "Two of my daughters. Hello."

Lady Ragyo was wearing a bright white dress, complimenting her white hair with rainbow streaks through it. Her skin was pale, but gave her a certain elegant quality.

Ryuko bowed down, showing respect for her mother. "We had an intruder earlier mother."

Ragyo lost her smile. "How? There couldn't have been, I would have known if there had been any forced entry into the house."

"I don't know. I just know that the Mankanshokus got away with her." Ryuko said, still bowing.

"Did you try to stop them?" Ragyo asked. "Since it seems like you know everything about the incident."

Ryuko shook her head. "The girl had something that shocked me and managed to blast a hole through my chest, I don't know how she did it."

Ragyo looked shocked, but covered the expression before Ryuko could see. "I'll call for Satsuki, you three will go and search for this girl and the Mankanshoku family."

Ryuko nodded and left the room.

"How long have you been there?" Ryuko asked as the door shut behind them.
Satsuki laughed. "You really are percptive aren't you?" Satsuki wore a dark black god robe with a red scarf and it seemed to have an eyepatch on the left side with a large amount of sewing in the midriff, as if closing a mouth. The right side had been sewn over too, making it look like it had once been life like.

"Don't mock me." Ryuko growled. "And don't look down on me for not owning a school like you."

Satsuki smiled. "And why would I do that?"

"Because, you are condescending and you prefer it to stay that way." Ryuko sighed. "Now hurry up, we need to find a certain family with a strange electric girl."

Mikoto was confused on why the little boy had grabbed her hand and yelled at her to go with him, but she was happy that she didn't have to fight her friend. Thoughts of why Ryuko had attacked her ran through her head, while the males in the Mankanshoku family stared at her with stars in their eyes.

"Erm. You look like you just got taken over by Mental Out..." Mikoto said, feeling uncomfortable with the stares.

"Railgun...please don't kill us..." The boy muttered.

"Pretty...don't let wife find out..." The big man mumbled, grabbing the wife's attention. The wife snuck behind the man and bear him over the head with a brick, knocking him out.

The woman continued to smile at Mikoto. "Hello, may I ask how you knew my family's name?"

Mikoto nodded, frightened with the woman's composure. "I, um, used to know Ryuko, but she forgot about me. She used to tell me stories about you guys and how you were her only family."

The girl, Mako, looked at Mikoto with a fearful look in her eyes. "Ryuko? Are you sure that she said that? She refers to us as trash and treats us like it when no one is around."

"Mako, is it OK if I call you that? I don't know what happened after Ryuko got sent back to this dimension, but I know what she called you, and it wasn't trash." The family stared at Mikoto like she had brain damage, but Mikoto continued. "I'm from a place called Academy City-"

"Woah! Woah! Wait a minute!" The boy said. "Your from the Academy City!? No way! How did you get out!?"

Mikoto stared at the boy, confused. "Do you guys have an Academy City?"

The family, including the apparently recovered man, nodded with fear on their faces. "We have a manga with you in it. Our Academy City is horrible, doing experiments on people, killing the ones that refuse, they even have espers who do nothing but kill for the Kyriun family."

Mikoto covered her mouth, seeing a manga held in the boy's hand. On the cover, there was a girl, much like herself, holding the head of a boy she knew, Kamijou Touma. She saw herself with a blood thirsty smile and red eyes. Standing behind her, there was a boy with white hair and a serious expression, very different from his usual expression of glee and terror.

"You don't have red eyes. Are you this girl?" The little boy asked.

"That looks a lot like me, but I don't recognize it." Mikoto answered truthfully.

"Well, I think we can trust you." The boy said. "I'm Mataro."

Mataro stuck out his hand while Mikoto accepted it. "I'm Mikoto Misaka."

A sudden cold hit Mikoto's legs, telling her that someone had pulled up her skirt.

"Aw...shorts." The older man mumbled, putting Mikoto's skirt back down before he got electrocuted.

"Wait, now we're wanted criminals, I'm sure that Ryuko won't let an opponent go without a huge masacre." Mako piped in.

"I don't know, I'm thinking we need to find that Inumuta guy. He seems pretty smart." Mikoto said, drawing more weird looks from the Mankanshokus. "Ok, I think I should also explain why I know about you guys..."

Mikoto explained how she met Ryuko and what happened in her Academy City.

"I don't know how we're going to get to him, the Kyriuns, by Kyriuns, I mean Ryuko, have him locked in a building that he has to be in to hack and control the stocks in the stock market." Mataro said, rubbing his chin.

"Mataro, sweety, what did I say about eavesdropping on the Kyriuns?" The mother said.

"N-no to Ma'am!" Mataro said, saluting.

"I though so." She smiled her calm creepy smile.

Mikoto shivered. "I guess that we need to get to Academy City and get him out to help us."

"We!?" Mr. Mankanshoku said.

"Yeah, since you helped me escape, you're wanted too." Mikoto said slyly.

"But what about the trees and the bushes and the tea and the garbage and the-" Mako continued, doing on and on.

"I don't know how you would be able to do any of that if Ryuko has your heads displayed in a case next to mine." The comment shut Mako up right away.

"I'll bake some croquettes for the road then!" Mr. Mankanshoku said, pulling a pot from nowhere.

Mikoto's eyes widened, but decided not to comment on it, seeing how she didn't have any warning signs of violence.

"Satén loves croquettes..." Mikoto mumbled while the woman began to cook something and as she drifted off to sleep.
