Stand Up

A sharp blast of electricity shot through Ryuko's chest, sending her through the the wall on which Isshin Matoi was tied.

Satsuki grabbed her blade, fully in her Kamui mode. "You think you can take on two Kamuis at once? We can easily take down a level six in seconds on our own. Do you have a death wish?"

Mikoto gave a knowing smile. "It shouldn't be that hard, I've already died once!"

Satsuki muttered something in French, launching herself at Mikoto, who moved out of the way with ease. Mikoto grabbed a coin from her pocket and aimed it at Satsuki.

Satsuki rushed at the charging coin, ignoring what it could possibly do to her body, it now being fuzed with Life Fibers. She was five feet from it when it had launched at four times the speed of light, ripping through her torso and succeeding in tearing her in half.

A tear ran down Mikoto's face as she saw yet another friend be mutilated by electricity. She had never seen so many people die in one day, yet it seemed like an eternity.

Satsuki Kyriun lay in a pool of blood, her lower half was sitting next to Isshin Matoi, flat against the wall. The Kamui had desynchronised and was just a regular sailor uniform again.

Manical laughter could be heard from the wall that Ryuko had been sent through. The girl who had once had the red streak, but now a rainbow, walked through, laughing like a patient from an insane asylum.

"Here's something you didn't realize about the Kyriun household, none of us can be killed!" Ryuko laughed uncontrollably. Mikoto cast a worried glance at Satsuki's body, which had managed to string itself across the room. The two halves began to pull on each other, bringing them closer together until they were finally connected.

"But, Satsuki rejected the Fibers!" Mikoto said, trying to make sense of the situation.

"No, she stayed inside the camera for a day, even when her heart stopped, she was still fusing with them." A woman's voice said from the hole in the wall. Mikoto glanced at where the voice was and found a white and rainbow haired woman, named Ragyo. Ragyo smiled. "La vie est drôle!"

"I don't understand what is so funny about life right now, but I will change it back to how it was, at least how I remember it." Mikoto growled, grabbing another coin.

"What do you mean, 'How it was'?" Ryuko snarled. "It's always been this way!"

Mikoto shook her head. "No, you used to be against the Kyriuns, you loved people, you never looked down on them. Please remember. You and I we're friends. We are. I swear!"

Ragyo laughed. "Can't you see? They are happy with their lives now. Do you want them to be sad? Ryuko didn't have a family. Satsuki was alone. They don't want to go back to that."

"No." Mikoto muttered.

"What? Speak up. You pig imitating Life Fibers." Ragyo said.

"NO! Ryuko had a family. Satsuki had Ryuko and her friends. They were happy. WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO THEM!?!?" Mikoto yelled, red lines swirling across her skin, along with the crackling of her red and blue electricity.

"She didn't do anything. She raised us to work for the Life Fibers."  Satsuki said, fully healed.

"No. Ryuko was abandoned by your mother. Satsuki, you rebelled and killed her, trying to avenge the sister you lost. THIS REALITY IS NOT RIGHT!" Isshin broke in. "I died, but Ragyo somehow manipulated the time line here! Ryuko! Mikoto is your friend! Please!"

"My friend? Ha! She is nothing more than a wannabe Life Fiber." Ryuko said, her voice dripping with condescending malice. "She is useless as a friend."

Mikoto was thrown into a silent rage. She couldn't stop herself, she had completely lost control of her emotions. Mikoto launched herself and tackled Ryuko without warning, sending her to the ground. Mikoto slammed her fist into Ryuko's face repeatedly, hearing the crack of both of their bones beneath her hands.

Ryuko's vision began to fade, surprisingly faster than she would have guessed. She could feel wet droplets falling on her face.

'Tears...' Ryuko thought to herself. 'Why is Mikoto crying? What happened?'

Ryuko could not figure out why her thoughts had turned so soft and caring, she hated it. The last thought she had before she was knocked out.

Mikoto slumped her shoulders when Ryuko had went unconscious. She had lost her anger while assaulting her friend, but was glad she didn't have to fight her for a while.

"That was interesting." Ragyo noted. "Too bad we must kill-"

Ragyo had been cut off by a sudden object piercing her chest. The object had blasted cleanly through and left electricity crackling around the room. Ragyo looked at Mikoto on the ground, but saw that the girl had not been the one to shoot her.

"Surprise motherfucker." Mikuru said, her hand still aimed at the crazy woman.

Satsuki smiled, nodding at Mikuru. "You sure know how to make an entrance."

Mikoto stared dumbfounded at the little group that was in the room. "What the hell!?" She began to shake uncontrollably, both from grief and anger. "You - you killed my friends, then, you come in to help? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?"

"Don't think because of this that we are on the same side." Mikuru said, reaching her hand down to Mikoto. "After all of this. I will kill you."

Mikoto took the girl's hand, seeing a dark glint in Mikuru's red eyes. "Don't think you can kill me. You didn't even kill Ragyo."

Mikuru turned toward where the woman had been shot, to see that she was still standing and pointing at her daughter. "You! Even in this timeline you have the audacity to turn against me!?"

"I already knew of Mikoto. You did nothing to erase my memory of her. You only succeeded in taking my original allies and turning Ryuko into a monster." Satsuki said, going into her pose she had used when she was head of Honnouji. "And just like then, we will murder you. Whether we had Senketsu and Matoi or not. WE WILL TEACH YOU AGAIN THAT HUMANS ARE NOT WORTHLESS!!"
