After the bright flash for light from the elder Kyriun leaving, there was a tangible silence in the room. Every single person ready for another to attack. Mikoto could have sworn that if a butterfly had entered into the room, she would have zapped it uncontrollably.

"Nng!" Ryuko groaned from the ground, startling everyone. Ryuko's now rainbow streak of hair twitched as she tried to get up. "Nonon....get me some water."

Nonon began to help Ryuko up. "Now isn't the time ma'am."

At that comment, Ryuko looked up at the opposing side of the room. "Damn."

Mikoto got ready for Ryuko to make a move, knowing that attacking first isn't the best way to fight, when Isshin suddenly tugged on Mikoto's sleeve.

"There really is only one way to help her." He began to whisper into her ear.

Mikoto nodded. "I thought as much."

"Oi! Trespasser! Die!" Ryuko shouted, pushing Nonon into the wall as she launched herself, scissor blade directed at Mikoto.

Mikoto raised her bare forearms to block the blow, the red lines glowing as the blade struck her. A sudden blast appeared and spread outward from the impact, knocking everyone but the Accelerators to the ground.

Ryuko's eyes widened, seeing that all she left was a scratch. Mikoto raised her arms, charging as much electricity she could into one sphere of electricity.

"Wait, wait, wait." Ryuko said, putting her scissor blade down. "I would like to propose a competition. A battle Royale if you would call it that."

Mikoto absorbed the electricity again, not being able to hurt her unarmed friend.

"It looks like your interested. It will be in tournament form of course. None the less, you will be able to fight me."

A stunned silence filled the room as Mikoto decided. The silence was interrupted by Satsuki. "You are just like I was. Before we killed Ragyo."

Ryuko scoffed. "I would never hurt Mother."

"You were one of the first lined up to murder her." Satsuki reasoned.

"Don't lie." Ryuko said, a little louder.

"You two are going no where." Mikoto interrupted. "Let's just get this over with."

"Wait." Mikuru said. "There are seven of us and four of them, how will this work?"

"You will organize your team obviously." Ryuko said, regaining her composure.

"This is a waste of time." TeleDeath mumbled.

"Actually, I will have my team decide on who they fight." Ryuko said with a sneer.

A grumble started among Mikoto's group, complaining about fairness.

"Everyone shut up." Mikoto said, silencing the group. "We need to do this. Quickly."

Before anyone could ask why it had to be done quickly, they noticed a sheen of sweat covering most of Mikoto's exposed flesh, her electricity building to extreme levels.

"We will have Nonon choose who she fights first." Ryuko said, not noticing what Mikoto's team had already seen.

Nonon stepped up, inspecting the seven combatants, until she stopped at TeleDeath. "This one."

TeleDeath groaned. "Why!? I'm tired of this crap."

"Our characters clash in appearance and attitude. That's why." Nonon sang.

"Ok, now-" Ryuko was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Mako.

"Please let me fight! Pleeeaaaassssse!" Mako whined.

"Fine." Ryuko said, showing her first real smile.

Mako immediately pointed at TeleDeath. "I want to fight that one!" She said happily.

"That one was already taken." Ryuko said, amused.

"Aaww." Mako pointed at Mental Out. "I'll fight her then!"

Ryuko nodded. "Accelerator?"

The Alternate Accelerator pointed at his counterpart. "That one ma'am."

"And Nui?" Ryuko asked.

"I'll ll fight Mikuru. That one is one I've wanted to beat since I met her." Nui said, happy she was able to choose.

"And of course I'll fight Mikoto Misaka." Ryuko said. "The first fight is between Mako and the ditsy blonde."

"Ditsy blonde!?" Misaki nearly screamed. "I'll have you know I'm Misaki Shokuhou! Level 5 esper of Academy City!"

"And Mako is Level 4 of this city." Ryuko said, even more amused.
