"Yoongi hyung..." Jungkook mutters.

Taehyung gets to his feet and stands before Jungkook defensively, "I won't let you harm him"

Yoongi scoffed, "and you think that you are match for me" he flicked his wrist and rotated the sword.

"Stay back!" Taehyung yelled. In the corner of his eyes he saw Jungkook's sword on the floor, he picked it up and pointed at Yoongi.

Yoongi breathed out a laugh, "do you even know how to use one?"

Taehyung doesn't. He can't even hold them straight, the sword wasn't as light as in appeared, it was heavy. He wondered how Jungkook carried it around like it weighed nothing.

"Well--I know how to stab"

"Don't fool yourself"

"I will protect him, unlike you" Taehyung glared.

"Excuse me?" Yoongi scoffed, "I've been protecting him long before you did, kid"

"Says the one who left him last night" Taehyung rolled his eyes. "I won't let you harm him"

"Why would I harm him?"

"Because he---he--"

"Because he pocess magic?" Yoongi raises his brow.

"I won't let you--" Taehyung says and he is suddenly pulled back into a hard warm chest which he recognizes as Jungkook's. The Prince's hand reaches up to were Tae is holding the sword and places it above the hand. "let go" he whispers in Tae's ears.

Taehyung did as told, Jungkook takes the sword in his hands and places it back in his belt. Tae still did not move, challenging Yoongi to cross his dead body before harming Jungkook.

"why are you here?" Jungkook asked.

"To see you. Did you think running away will make it go away?" Yoongi asks as he places the sword back into his belt.

"You sure did run away last night"

Yoongi looks away, " I did not know how to react"

"Will you tell my father? after all isn't that your job?" Jungkook asks.

Yoongi's eyes widen and he looks back to Jungkook, "what--how?"

"I know hyung..I know that my dad had asked you to keep a check on me , stop me if you know--"

Yoongi sighs, "since when did you know?"

"always..."

"can I talk to you in private please"

Jungkook nodded at Taehyung. Tae sighed, "I will be watching you" he pointed at Yoongi and walked away, leaving the Prince and his Knight alone.

"I'm so sorry Jungkook-ah..I was startled looking at you like that...I knew a day like this would come..I wasn't prepared. I was scared, not because of you, but for you...what if it was not me last night? what if someone else saw that? what if the King himself saw that? I wouldn't have been able to protect you...I would have failed you" Yoongi clenched his jaw, eyes getting teary. "I want you to know that I am not afraid of you, I won't harm you..and if you are confused and scared of yourself, I will protect you, after all that's what brothers do"

"Really?" Jungkook asked with big round eyes.

Yoongi chuckled, "sometimes I forget that you are the strongest warrior of humanity...the great prince of the Great Jusan? I don't see him. All I see now is the kid that I met on the staircase, the kid that I promised to protect"

Jungkook ran over and hugged Yoongi, "thank you"

"Oi! I didn't say it was okay to hug!" Yoongi tried to break free, "ugh! your strong"

Jungkook smiled and pulled away. "The lover of yours...you sure did a find a loyal one who loves you truly. I mean ready to fight me? that must mean he loves you a lot" Yoongi chuckled.

"I do love him Truly!" Taehyung yelled from the distance.

"what the--how did he hear that?"

Jungkook giggled, "he can read lips"

"Yes I can!" Taehyung yelled again. Yoongi shook his head, "god"

Jungkook went to Taehyung, "so brave of you to challenge Yoongi" he smiled.

"I do not mind challenging anyone when it comes to your safety" Taehyung says, "although, it would be better if the sword weighs less....how do you even carry it"

Jungkook chuckled and tucked Tae's hair behind his ears, "practice"

"You--" Taehyung started but stopped when he heard Jungkook groan and kneel to the floor, "Oh my god Jungkook!? are you okay?"

Yoongi came running, "Prince? what's wrong"

Jungkook blinked multiple times and looked up at them , "I--I think I had a vision--a dream--while still awake-"

"what was it about?" Taehyung asked.

"I don't know--I saw a cave and I heard a voice, they wanted me to come visit them--to find answers--to bring you as well" Jungkook looked at Taehyung.

"cave? have we been there before?" Yoongi asked.

"No...everything looked different--magical but powerful and dark--with huge dark green trees in the path"

"It's the vengline garden" Taehyung utters. 

"I have never heard of it. I know every place that is in the map, we have scouted every single forest, it's impossible that we missed that" Yoongi argues.

"That's because it is not in the map....it's an isolated place, even we aren't allowed to go into them...many who have entered did not have a chance to return" Taehyung states.

"Sounds festive" Yoongi says, sarcasm dripping in his voice.

"let's go, we want answers" Jungkook says.

"I will accompany. I am not letting you go alone." Yoongi adds. "I will keep you safe Prince"

"Me too" they hear another voice.

"Jimin? when did you get here?" Jungkook asks.

"Just now...I'm coming with you too"

"where are you comming?It's dangerous" Yoongi asks, annoyed.

"I heard two things: It's the Vengline forest and that it's dangerous. I know you will only keep your prince safe, so I'm not letting my friend go with you, unprotected" Jimin crosses his arms against his chest.

"I can protect them"

"You can? with what? your sword against magic? I didn't know you were funny" Jimin sasses. 

Jungkook fights back a smile, this is all so amusing to him, no one speaks to yoongi like that. Yoongi growls, "fine whatever, if something happens to you....I'm not saving you"

"don't need your saving"

"okay. That's it. the four of us are going to the vengline forest" Jungkook declares.
