Rewrite the Stars [ Taekook ]

Jungkook had left early in the morning without waking up the sleeping Zalrian. He wouldn't be able to leave him, if he was awake.

He still had hope. He's going to fight this war with everything he have.

The day in the battlefield was just like any other day. 

The night fell.

The next day arrive. They fought.

The night fell again.

The next day arrived. It was like clockwork. Day after day. 

But this day, something was wrong. Not wrong, just different. There were no Zirehs in sight.

In the battlefield while Jungkook and Yoongi were fighting side by side, Yoongi looked at him, "The day's about to end and still no zireh? is this some kind of trick?" he asked.

"I don't know. We make it our advantage" Jungkook smiled and wiped his forehead. Yoongi smiled softly, it was nice to see Jungkook energized after a long time. He saw the light in his eyes, that's enough to keep fighting. 

Bambam ran past them. "wait where are you going?" Jungkook asked. Bambam turned around and pointed to his right, "Those men need help" There were 30 men of the Choi Kingdom. "Alone? take Perci with you"

"He's assisting Jogum. I'm fine, Sire" Bambam said.  

"I'll come then" Jungkook said. He doesn't want Bambam to go alone. He doesn't want to lose him too.

"You can't leave the centre, Prince. Let me go, we don't want any of those men dying" he pointed at the 5 of the Jusan men fighting against the Choi men. Jungkook hesitated but nodded and Bambam ran off. 

"Don't question your judgement Prince" Yoongi said from a few feet away.

"Can you please stick to Jungkook...I'm tired of hearing my friends call me 'Prince'" Jungkook said as he was fighting. Only Yoongi and Jungkook could efficiently carrry a conversation while they are trying not to get killed.

Yoongi sighed, "You need to give Bambam some time Jungkook. Don't hesitate when you give out an order. I can see that you are not okay with him going alone."

"But what if my gut feeling is wrong again?" Jungkook asked. The battlefield is not the place for him to question his Judgement.

"You won't be"

Jungkook nodded, "Go assist him Yoongi"

"Leaving you alone?" 

"Yes. I'll be fine" Jungkook said and Yoongi nodded and ran off to Bambam. 

A few seconds later Hansol appeared before him, "Thank God you are not dead. I wanted to kill you myself" he said.

Jungkook scoffed, "You are nothing but pathetic Hansol"

"Pathetic? Me?" 

"Yes. You appear before me now? when I'm alone? are you afraid of Yoongi?" Jungkook chuckled. "you are afraind that you don't stand a chance when we are together?"

"Shut up." He launched at Jungkook with his sword which Jungkook easily blocked, "Your moves are predictable"

Hansol swung his sword with anger, aiming for Jungkook's head but the later was quick on his feet to move away from the impact. 

"Where are your precious Zireh? " Jungkook asked as he blocked Hansol's another attack.

"Don't talk as if you didn't have any part in it!" Hansol was getting angrier as each second passed by, he couldn't land a single blow on Jungkook.

"I had nothing to do with whatever happened. Unlike you, I can fight without magic" Jungkook taunted.

Hansol growled, "I will kill you! I will kill everything you love! your Father! Your Knights! Yoongi! I will kill everyone you cherish!" 

Jungkook glared at him, "You can't if I don't let you" in an instant he had Hansol pinned to the ground, his sword on Hansol's neck. He saw the fear in his eyes, "still sure that you could kill me?"

All Jungkook had to do was press the sword tighter and closer to Hansol's neck, just a little more and he could kill him, but he hesitated. He doesn't want to kill him.  He was human.

Hansol kicked Jungkook's leg, making him roll off. Hansol reached for his sword but the horn was blowed indicating the end of the day. Hansol still reached for his sword and Bambam pushed it away. "Did you not hear the horn blow? or are you getting old and deaf?" Yoongi asked. 

Hansol screamed in frustration, "Just wait till I kill all of you!" he stood up and left them.

"wow what a day!" Jungkook sighed. 

Why couldn't he just kill Hansol?

Going back to the Kingdom, Jungkook was having a weird feeling. Something was not right. This didn't feel like a logical intuition, but rather a magical feeling. His Skin burned as he walked, it was stopping him from walking away. It wanted him to go somewhere else. His heart beat raised, images of Taehyung flashed before his eyes. He wanted to go to him. Something bad is going to happen. 

Upon reaching his room Jungkook tried to fall asleep, ignoring the signs. It was just his mind worrying too much. Minutes passed and he was getting restless. He needs to go to Taehyung right now.

He needs to trust his gut feeling.

He sneaked out through his window and jumped the wall, his legs led him to the waterfalls.
