It's been 3 months. Three peaceful months since they had met the fairy Seokjin in the cave, three months since they came to know about their destiny. They are happy to make use of the time the universe lets them have. Taehyung and Jungkook fell more in love, was that even possible to love someone so much that it breaks them to be apart even for a day.
Yoongi and Jimin were taking their relationship slow, Yoongi was still afraid that he would end up hurting Jimin someway, but deep down they both loved each other very much and it was visible through their actions. Jimin still wouldn't make it rain for Yoongi though, he says that Yoongi needs to do more in order to persude him.
Even though the four of them were as happy as ever, they couldn't help but feel anxious about Prince Hansol, that man still hadn't waged a war. The Jusan Kingdom would never be the ones to wage a war, so even if they are displeased with the Choi Kingdom there's nothing they can do. They could only prepare themselves for what's coming. Yoongi was anxious about something else too, about Jungkook's impending death. Even if Jungkook seem to shake it off, Yoongi couldn't stop worrying, he knows that Jungkook knows more than he revealed. What could it be? does Jungkook possibly know how he will die?
"We have a messanger from the Choi Kingdom" Two guards inform it to the courtroom. Yoongi and Jungkook share glances, "Bring him in" the King says.
"Yes your majesty!" The guards go back and bring the messanger in. Jungkook stares at the rolled up paper held in the messanger's hand. In a matter of few seconds, he's going to know what Hansol had planned. He is certain that is it a war notice.
"My lords!" the messanger bows, "the following I read, are the words from the Great Prince Hansol himself:
'Greetings! People and Royals of the Jusan Kingdom!
The War you were eagrly awaiting for has finally arrived!
I have no interest in wasting my life in years and years of war, so we would do this the old way.
'The 30 day war'
Everyone in the courtroom gasped, including Jungkook. The 30 days war was a ritualistic war that took place almost a century ago. Though it may seem simple and short, it was the complete opposite of simple. The men in those 30 day war were ruthless. Only 20% of them were alive by the end of the war.
It was a war where men fight only when the sun is out. They pause the war by sun fall and go to their respective kingdoms. The fight takes place in a common ground outside both Kingdom's territory. No civilian or anyone outside the Kingdom must not be harmed.
They may use any weapons, any power, any trick but only between the 30 days and only when the sun's out. They may even invade the other Kingdom and take it over during any day.
'why would Hansol choose to do it that way?'
unless....
The Messenger continued:
'We the Choi Kingdom restored to using Magic. A tool that you people consider as a weak evil move.
We are more than happy to show you how weak and evil magic truly is
We meet tommorrow when the sun rises at 'Midon'
If you agree to the war sign at the bottom:'
The King grabbed the paper the messanger handed him and scoffed, "The Choi's are so bad to use this trick. This is the only way they would have a slight chance of winning" he looked at Jungkook, "And you will beat them!" he signed the paper.
