Rewrite the Stars [ Taekook ]

Jungkook when he returned back, pretended like nothing happened. He informed Yoongi about the attack Hansol had planned. Yoongi came up with a defense plan, while Jungkook did nothing but stare out the window. He was calm for some reason. He did not care about the war anymore. He never did.

Jimin couldn't stop feeling anxious. He needs to find Taehyung.

Hoping Jungkook would know about Taehyung's whereabouts, Jimin approached the prince as he was walking,

" Prince, Have you seen Taehyung, I looked for him everywhere, last night he said he came to visit you and--" Jungkook wasn't listening, he walked past Jimin.

Jimin felt as if someone punched him in his throat. What happened to Jungkook?

"Hey what are you doing here? Leave. The final war is about to start" Yoongi grabs Jimin's hand. Looking at the tears in the boy's eyes Yoongi's heart clenched, "what's wrong?"

"Something is wrong with the Prince--and Taehyung is missing--I" Jimin started.

"Nothing is wrong with the Prince, he's just stressed...Taehyung could be anywhere, nothing bad would have happened to him okay?" Yoongi assured.

"No--You don't understand Yoongi! Something bad happened and Something even worse is going to happen! This doesn't feel right" Jimin cried.

"Listen darling, It's alright. I want you to stay away from the royal palace tonight. We have news that Hansol's men are planning to attack it, so please stay away. When the war is over, we can look for Taehyung together okay?" Yoongi cupped Jimin's face.

If they know this, then it means that Taehyung had conveyed the news to Jungkook, so where did he go after? He must have come back to Jimin, why isn't he coming back?

Jimin nodded even though he felt as if he wasn't going to see Yoongi again, "Check up on the Prince"

Yoongi smiled as he watched Jimin walk away. He was afraid, for once in his life he wondered if he would make it out of the battle alive. He wanted to make it out, for Jimin's sake.

Yoongi approached Jungkook, "Are you ready for the Battle, Prince?" he smiled.

When Yoongi touched Jungkook's arm he knew that Jimin was right, the Prince's hands were cold despite the scorching sun, his eyes, those bright beautiful eyes that were once filled with hope and shined like the sun, those eyes that would light up every time he smiled were different now.

"Prince" Yoongi called, ignoring the lump in his throat. Jungkook smiled at him. The eyes that were once filled with so much purpose and love were now replaced with emptiness .That's when Yoongi knew for sure that the boy he once knew was long gone.

"Jungkook? Is something wrong?"

"Everything is fine Min." Jungkook said. His voice was cold as ice.

Yoongi cleared his throat, "I wanted to go over the plan once again before ordering the soldiers. We are stopping Hansol's army at the border, before they enter the Palace right?"

"No Min, we are not doing that. We let them into the Palace. We face them there"

"But Prince, we have to seal the gates of the kingdom, we can't let them in--" Yoongi protested.

"That's an order Min. They know what am I, let them come and feel my wrath"

Yoongi crinkled his nose, this was a bad idea, but also the Prince's idea so he can't disobey. "Okay" he nodded and left Jungkook alone.

He needs to have a talk with Jungkook after tonight.
