"No, it can't be! Y-you! It's you?!" he yelled the last part as he stood abruptly and the chair fell. Rowan flinched and Elijah stepped in front of her. "You're, Someone?!" asked the hybrid again and held up his phone with the name of the informant on it.
"Niklaus, calm yourself!" demanded Elijah, Rowan inhaled sharply in fear and backed away a little further.
"Calm myself?! You knew who she was and you lied to me!" screamed the blonde and he threw the table at the wall, shattering it. The hybrid didn't wait longer and attacked his brother. He threw Elijah at the kitchen counter and cracks were heard. Elijah grunted in pain, causing Rowan to panic and perform the spell she'd hidden for emergencies.
"σπάστε το λαιμό" she chanted and channelled her necklace for extra power. Klaus's neck snapped and he collapsed on the floor. Rowan sighed in relief but still felt crippling fear. She went straight to Elijah, checking on him, "are you okay?"
"I'm alright, I heal fast. How did you do this?" he inquired, as he stood up. His voice still expressed pain.
"I learned the spell from Gloria but the power needed for it came from my necklace," explained the witch and pulled out her necklace. "It's a moonstone that I've been charging for three years."
"It must hold a lot of power," concluded the Original. "My brother won't be happy when he awakens."
"Told you he'll try to kill me," joked the woman, though her tone was dry. Elijah glanced at her disapprovingly.
"And I told you I won't let him harm you," he said.
"You really think he'll give me a chance to explain?" She asked, sitting on the sofa chair.
"We'll have to try. I believe he's more upset with me for not informing him," said Elijah, joining Rowan in sitting.
"You can always make up the excuse that you gave me your word." The Original chuckled at the idea and the two talked on how they'd approach the hybrid once he wakes up. It took half an hour for Niklaus to regain consciousness. He got up swiftly and glanced around with fury.
"How dare you?" He growled, his hybrid features showing.
"Niklaus, you either allow her to speak or she can snap your neck, over and over," said Elijah nonchalantly. Rowan gave her bravest expression to Klaus.
"I've never lied to you Mr Klaus. Yes, I have kept things from you but I never lied!" She affirmed.
"Well, what have you been hiding from me?" demanded the hybrid, gritting his teeth.
"It started on my tenth birthday..." Rowan went into detail this time. She told both brothers how she woke up with the memories of her past life. How Lila Stone was in a world with no supernatural beings but she had knowledge of their world and the events of its timeline. "I knew my sister was the doppelganger and have been planning for your arrival ever since."
