Hello my Lovelies, yes this story is not abandoned, however, I'll be a bit slow to update. I will be rewriting the previous chapters, so there may be some changes in the future!

"Let us find out what happened to you first, then we'll discuss other things," he said. His voice wasn't as cold as Rowan expected it to be. However the tone was still monotonous and his expression turned stoic. Rowan nodded in understanding and sat next to Sofie, ready to recount what happened to her, or at least most of it.
Rowan spent the next hour retelling what happened on the other side with Esther. From the torture to the first offer, to the final deal. Niklaus and Elijah demanded to know what it was. Rowan had no choice but to postpone their knowledge of it. She was willing to tell Elijah but Niklaus has yet to learn of her origin as Someone. "She made me swear not to tell until the time comes. I can assure you, however, that it doesn't harm you." Rowan's hope of calming them was diminished the second she referenced how Esther originally wished to kill them.
Niklaus hadn't appeared shocked, nor was Elijah. Despite that, the Gilbert-witch could tell that Elijah still felt a hint of betrayal. His eyes had gone slightly wide and they reflected his pain. Rowan wished to comfort both Mikaelsons but it wasn't the right time. Rowan would have to reveal too much, for them to fully understand that there truly wasn't much to worry about.
The witch decided to refrain from reaching out to comfort them. They would get suspicious, at least Niklaus would. Rowan could always explain things to Elijah later. Speaking of the man, he seemed unperturbed with what happened with Celeste. Rowan kept expecting some nasty remarks or at least a glare but nothing came, absolutely nothing. She had no idea what was worse, expecting him to hate her, or being treated coldly by him. It was unnerving to say the least. Although, Rowan had to admit it was very in character for Elijah. He seemed to be the type of man to not show his anger.
Even if Rowan had witnessed it being released around Klaus all the time in the show. Rowan believed, Elijah didn't waste time on emotions when it came to strangers. That was apart from the Doppelgängers, Hayley and cute witches. Yes, Rowan was rather salty of the fact. The witch ignored the pang in her chest, telling her that Elijah didn't care much for her. She knew it was difficult to get him to do so in the first place. However, after revealing her identity and his reassurance that he'd never hate her, Rowan thought he may care.
Once the Gilbert-witch completed explaining the events that occurred, she asked Klaus, "so, are you ready to break your curse the next full moon?"
"Yes, it sounds like a plan," he said. He seemed rather pleased that Rowan figured out, or rather Esther revealed, how to break both curses. In fact the process turned out to be less complicated than expected. The first curse occurred as normal, however in order to simultaneously break the second curse, Niklaus needed to feed the werewolf sacrifice his blood, before killing them.
