Part 7:The Empoleon's Guru

The day after,Chloe is already happy for the victory in her first battle of the Pokken Tournament while Empoleon is already suffering for the injuries caused by Lucario's moves."Empoleon,why you don't stay at home? I can go to school also without you. And today my mom can take me at school first to go to work"says Chloe."For nothing. I don't leave you. I prefer to suffer but stay quiet that you're safe. I follow you and your mother won't notice nothing. But you've to say her about this tournament one day"says Empoleon. Chloe can't do nothing but only give reason to Empoleon. Chloe's mother enter the room."Chloe,we're late and i can't go late to work. Please be fast."than take a moment watching Empoleon and then says"Empoleon...are you okay?"."Yes. I'm good..."says Empoleon."Ok,i want to believe in you but i'm not sure about that".says the mother.
"Mum,i'm ready,we can go now"
"Ok. Empoleon,we're going now. Maybe we'll continue to talk later,ok?"
"Ok..."
After this,Chloe and her mother go out of home for reaching the school and Empoleon go out of home as well by jumping out from the window. But during the road to school he find Lucario.
"Empoleon...."
"Lucario...why are you here?"
"I want to say that i leave my trainer and it's only thank to you. Thank you so much for give me the reason to abandon my old way and try to find a new one. And sorry for hurt you really hard. If you need help for everything,you can count on me".
"Thank you for your help,i'll take it in mind when i need something. I hope you find someone that give you the right love you deserve,just like the ones that Chloe is giving to me. Now i have to go. Goodbye".
"Goodbye..."
After this,Empoleon go to run towards Chloe's school as fast as possible,leaving Lucario behind himself.
Once he reachs Chloe's school,he goes on his usual place for being sure that Chloe is okay. The pain is already powerful and he has to sit down for halve it. When Chloe go out of school,Empoleon is taking a rest but get waked up by Chloe. He went down from the car and return to home. During their road,Chloe see an old man and recognize him.
"Oh,Empoleon look. It's the old man of yesterday".
The old man see them and greeting them and approach them.
"Ehi,you're the girl of yesterday. Congrats for your victory. You and Empoleon did an awesome job".
"Thank you sir,but it's all thank to your suggestions. I don't know if we can win without your help. Thank you so much".
During their conversation,the Ferrum Champion interrupt them.
"Oh,apparently you already know her"
"Yes. I've known them during the break between the first and the second round".
"What?Champion,you know this man?"says Chloe,confused.
"Yes my dear. I'm pleased to present to you Mr.Sawatari,the Empoleon's guru. He's the most powerful Empoleon trainer but now he stops competing due to his age but he's already happy to give suggestions to new Empoleon players like you.And i ask him to train you and your Empoleon for let you and your friend become stronger and he accept."says the champion.
"Train us?why us?"says Chloe.
"See,my dear,i see that your bond with your Empoleon is completely different from other Empoleon and trainers's bond. Your Empoleon is partecipating only for satisfy your desire to compete for receive more respect from other people but he want to protect you from every dangerous situations so a good training will help him become stronger for face also these type of situations." Says Mr Sawatari
"And from what you see all of this?"
"It's easy darling. From his eyes". Says the man by pointing Empoleon's eyes.
"From his eyes?".says Chloe.
"Yes. He's suffering in this moment but he choose to follow you in any case. Another Empoleon will be in his Pokeball in this case but not him."
"Empoleon.."says Chloe,while Empoleon is quite embarassed by this situation.
"I want to see the first suggestion of our training's session:try to talk more with your Pokémon. A solid bond is important for win these type of battles and Empoleon is a Pokémon that don't believe to humans at the first time. For receive his confidence you've to show him your love and maybe he'll start to trust you."
"Thank you so much.I'll start to do it from now to ever".
"Good. I'm waiting to you tomorrow for the first training's session.See you".
The old man go away while Chloe and Empoleon watch him going far from them.
"I'm sure that his suggestions will help you and your friend become stronger. Can't wait to see another of your battles. Goodbye". Says the Champion.
"Goodbye and thank you again". says Chloe.
Once back home,Chloe ask to Empoleon how he's feeling now.Empoleon is already suffering but the pain is less than before.
"I'm starting feeling better now,thank you".
"Empoleon,you don't believe in me at all,right?"
"Well,no, not at all. But i see that you're different than other humans. Give me the right time to trust you completely,Ok?"
"Ok. Good night. Tomorrow will be a rough day".
"Good night,Chloe. Yes,especially for me".
Both Chloe and Empoleon go to sleep but they don't know the surprise that the Empoleon's Guru have for them.
