Part 14:The Guru's second lesson(The Support Pokémon)

The day after Chloe and Pikachu is already worried about their friend Empoleon,so worried that both of them wasn't able to sleep.Lucario decide to stay with them for watch over them."Today i've to go to the Guru's new lesson...without Empoleon..."says Chloe.Lucario and Pikachu looked at her with a sad face.Chloe's mother entered her room."Chloe,today i'm going to the hospital for see if Empoleon is feeling better and i'll stay there for see if he wakes up,ok?"says the mother."Ok"says Chloe.
The mother left the house."I don't want to go at the lesson today...i'll suffer"says Chloe."I think that you've to go,i'm sure that Empoleon want it too.I'll come with you too"says Lucario."Ok"says Chloe.
Chloe,Lucario and Pikachu reached the Guru's house and he open the door.All of them entered the house in silence.Chloe tried to explain why she's so sad but the guru stopped her."I know everything,you don't need to explain nothing.But i'm sure of a thing:your Empoleon is strong and he'll wake up and return more stronger than before.Have faith.For today Triton don't partecipate to the lesson for not let you suffer. Ok?"says the guru.Chloe nodded.
"Well,it's time that i present to you the Pokémon that will support you during your Pokkén's battles.Ok,come out!"says the guru while launching the pokeballs.From them comes out Fennekin,Emolga,Sylveon,Croagunk,Umbreon,Espeon,Litten,Popplio,Pachirisu,Magikarp,Farfetch'd,Electrode,Cubone,Diglett,Mismagius,Ninetales, Dragonite,Frogadier,Eevee,Rotom,Togekiss,Snivy and Lapras.
"That's a lot of Pokémon!They're all so cute!"says Chloe.
"Yes,they're your support Pokémon and each of them has their functions.Some of them can boost your power/defense,others will protect you and others can attack directly your opponent. You've to master each of them or some of them and decide which one you've to use in a battle.Each Pokémon is paired to another and you can't change the couple of Pokémon you choose until the end of the battle.For example Sylveon is paired with Croagunk and you've to battle with them at the end of the battle. You can exchange your support Pokémon's pack after each battle."says the guru.
"Ok"says Chloe,while she found that one of Sylveon's ribbons are twisted around her arm."Sylveon...eon?"says Sylveon,worried.
"Sylveon is pretty sensitive,she understand that you aren't feeling happy and want to cheer you up"says the guru.
"Oh,thank you Sylveon,i'm just worried about my friend...."says Chloe,which seems to start crying.
"The lesson is finished now. If you want to reach the hospital for see how's Empoleon you can do it.You'll return here when everything returned to normal. Just for let you know the tournament is suspended for now because of what happened."says Chloe.
Chloe,Lucario and Pikachu returned at home.Meanwhile,the mother is already at the hospital.She asked to the doctor news about Empoleon."The situation is stable but he's already in coma.We don't when he'll wake up.We're doing our best."
"Thank you."says Chloe's mother and,first to return at home,she gives a last look at Empoleon.
Once she returned at home,Chloe asked her what the doctors says to her about Empoleon."We've to wait. That's it".After it,Chloe hugged the mother and start crying,with the mother that hugs her back and Lucario and Pikachu that tries to comfort her.
