Part 17:Pikachu's first victory

Today is the day where the Pokken tournament's battles are available again.They're in the stadium awaiting for start battling but Chloe isn't in the will to battle after what happened.
"Are you still thinking about what happened to Empoleon,right?"said Lucario with a worried face.
"I'm afraid that something wrong will happen to you or Pikachu in an official tournament too and i feel that i won't be able to do nothing if something wrong will happen..."
"Understood. Though i'm sure that Empoleon will ask you to fight this battle also for him. Also i think that the humans prevented something in the case something similar will happen again".
"But...i don't feel good...i didn't do any practice with you or Pikachu...maybe i should surrender.."
Pikachu didn't liked this idea and launched some thunderbolts in sign of disapprovement.
"What...Pikachu"
"I feel Pikachu's aura...he's strong...he's sad too but he will like to fight with you for dedicate the win to Empoleon in the case of victory"
"Oh...really..."
Pikachu has a determinated face and this was enough for Chloe to find the motivation for start the battle.
"Alright Pikachu,let's do it for Empoleon too!"
"PIKAAA"
After this Chloe and Pikachu are ready to start the battle. Their opponent have a Sceptile.
The stage is ready and the spectators are ready to watch the battle.
"Round 1,FIGHT"
Pikachu and Sceptile start running in circle. Pikachu landed a side attack and then a forward attack that caused a phase shift. In duel phase Sceptile prepared all his grass traps through various Bullet Seeds and Leech Seeds but Pikachu managed to destroy them with Thunderbolt that hit Sceptile but Bullet Seed got activated and Pikachu goes knockdown. Meanwhile Sceptile used a combo Bullet Seed>Charged Strong attack for pressure Pikachu's shield on Wake Up. Both the pokemon are studying each other movements until Pikachu catched Sceptile in the air with Electro Ball. The battle goes with a continue changement of phases but the ones at landing the final attack is Pikachu with an aerial strong attack that give him the first round.
"Pika"Pikachu was happy.
"Pikachu,don't drop your guard down.Sceptile is unpredictable".
"Pika"Pikachu is ready for the second round.
"Round 2,FIGHT"
Like before,Sceptile start running in circle but this time he set up his grass traps through his side attacks and weak aerial attack that put Pikachu under pressure. Though Sceptile made a mistake by using Leaf Blade and get caught by Nuzzle that deals a critical hit and a phase shift. Sceptile goes knockdown but he managed to Counter the Thunder on WakeUp for doing a forward dash.The round two is similar to the round one until Sceptile's trainer decide to activate the Burst Mode and become Mega Sceptile. In this case Mega Sceptile's pressure become even more oppressive that,also if Pikachu managed to hit Mega Sceptile with Thunder,he got hit by one of the traps. At this point,Mega Sceptile's pressure reached his max level and he used his Burst Attack for pressure Pikachu's shield even more.
"Pikachu,we can continue to stay on the defense,it's to activate the Burst Mode".
"Pika!"
Pikachu entered his Burst Mode when Sceptile Burst Mode finished. Pikachu tried to read Sceptile's movements and managed to hit Sceptile with a Thunderbolt. Then Sceptile made the mistake to use Leech Seed and Pikachu take this mistake for use his Burst Attack from afar. This landed a lot of damages. In field phase,Sceptile didn't know what to do anymore and get hit by another Nuzzle. Pikachu won.
"Pikachu,we did it!"
"Pika Pikaaa!!" Pikachu is happy and start running towards Chloe. He received her hugs.
"I'm sure that Empoleon will be proud of you"said Chloe with a sad tone.
Then both looked to the sky with the hope that Empoleon will awake...meanwhile an Empoleon of a different color is walking around the city and yelling "brother,brother..."who will be this brother? The mistery continue.
