Part 27:Kidnapping

The day after the fight against Shadow Mewtwo,Chloe is at home thinking about what happened.Empoleon and Pikachu are in her room while Lucario is helping her mother in the kitchen.

"I wonder what will happen to the tournament now. I hope everything will be fixed".

"Maybe meanwhile you can focus on your school and rehabilitation."

"I'm doing it"

"Oh...but if your only interest is that tournament.."

"I'm working also on my homeworks too,i do them when you aren't around"

"Remember that i accepted to do that tournament only if you focused properly on your school and rehabilitation...

"I'm doing it too..why are you doubting about it?"

"Because i feel that i'm the only one at putting efforts in what i had to do..."

"It isn't like you think"

"Alright,maybe it's good that i go taking a walk. I don't want to argue even more..."said Empoleon,coming down the stairs in anger. Lucario felt his anger and decided to follow him after that he closed the door.

"I wonder what happened,Lucario please put him and yourself in no troubles out there". Lucario nodded and closed the door.

Meanwhile,Empoleon is taking a walk and on the way he kick cans or other things away to relieve anger.Lucario managed to reach him.

"Empoleon stop"

"Eh?"

"I heard your conversation with Chloe and it seems that you are arguing with her"

"The fact is...that i feel that the only one who is keeping the promise is me."

"No,she is doing her best also with her other things"

"So why she does it when i'm not around? Maybe i missed lots of things when i was in coma..."

Lucario grabbed one of his wings "believe in me,she kept practicing also while you was in the hospital.She is doing her best for keep the promise"

"I hope so..."said Empoleon with a sad face.

Meanwhile someone knock at the door of Chloe's home. The mother opened the door thinking that it was Lucario but she did the worst decision ever. A Toxicroak pushed her and make her fall down while causing some damages to the home.Chloe was in her room but she heard the loud noises and her mother's yells. Pikachu rushed down the stairs and,once he saw Toxicroak,he attacked with Electro Ball but the attack failed because a Rhyperior appears behind him.

"Pii"said Pikachu while landing on the ground.

"Oh no,them again"

"Wh...who are them?"

"The Pokemon hunters,they want the shiny Empoleon"

"Exactly...and now you tell us where it is or nothing will stand still here"said their chief.

"I'll never tell you where it is!Pikachu,Iron Tail!"said Chloe and Pikachu attacked Toxicroak with it,but Toxicroak answered with Poison Jab and Pikachu got pushed back,poisoned.

"Pikachu"

"I'll say it again,tell me where that penguin is or this home will disappear!"

Rhyperior was preparing an attack but it got hit by a powerful Vacuum Wave.Rhyperior crashed towards a wall.

"What? Who did it?"said the hunter

The shiny Empoleon appeared,stomping the ground angrily.

"Leave family out of it! Family protected and take care of me,now i protect family!" She said while launching an Air Slash towards Toxicroak.
