Part 23:Trauma

Chloe goes to school and Pikachu was taking a little sleep.Empoleon is still waiting to Chloe's return and he was talking with Lucario about some things,but he saw that Lucario isn't hearing him.
"Lucario...Lucario!"
"Eh...oh...
"Are you alright?"
"Yes,i got catched by my thoughts..."
"Is there something that is bothering you?"
"My old memories with my old trainer. I had really hard moments sometimes and,despite my efforts,my old trainer was always mad and acted like a bully towards other trainers"
"I thought that he acted like a bully only towards Chloe...i was wrong...i'm sorry that you had to deal with it"
"But now i'm feeling accepted here and loved by my trainer,Chloe is so kind and i'm thankful that you two defeated us,Empoleon"
"Uh?"
"If you didn't defeated me,now i'll still stay with him.Luckily i'm not".
Empoleon put a wing on Lucario's shoulder for comfort him.
"You aren't the only one with old traumas. I can't hug people because of something that happened with a stranger."
"Uh? What?"
"I never get choosed as pokemon partner because humans thought that i'm weak and useless,so i flew from that place for spend my day as a wild pokemon and than return in that cage.One day i met an old woman who was in difficulty at carrying her food and i helped her. The old woman takes care of me and she started showing me how much she cared for me with that strange way to show love. Though i exchange that gesture but i hurt her by accident with my wings's blades and she goes to the hospital. Once she comes back she wanted to see me again but i choose to not see her anymore for not hurt her again,though i missed that gesture when i see humans doing it...ah"
Lucario turned around and give a hug to Empoleon"the gesture you're talking about...is this one?"
".......yes...."
"If you can't hug us,we'll do it.Don't worry bud,you aren't alone."said Lucario.
Empoleon would like to hug back but the fear to hurt him doesn't let him do it.
"Us humans are used to express love through hugs,caresses and headpats.This gesture is called "hug""said Chloe's mom,who heard the entire conversation.
"Uh? Hugs?"Empoleon said.Lucario stopped hugging him once he saw the woman.
"Yes,hugs.Though don't worry,we'll help you into defeating this trauma."
"Oh....how?
"I don't know but i'll try to figure how to resolve the problem"said the mother while touching Empoleon's blades.
"I....ok..."
After this the woman give an headpat to Empoleon.
Meanwhile Chloe returned back to school.
"Something happened?"
"No,my dear. Let's go to eat. The launch is ready."
After this everyone go to have launch and decide their plans for the day. Tomorrow the final phases of the blue league will begin. How it will end? Let's see in the future chapter.
