I woke up to smell a sweat and stained blood, i was gagged with a cloth in my mouth and was tied with ropes that were cutting into my arms. In front of me was someone who was badly beaten and cut, i didn't recognize who he was until...

My eyes went wide with fear and confusion as i saw in front of me Courtney's mum, my ex-wife friend, Y/N's Auntie. In her hand was dagger filled with darkened blood, it was the same colour as her eyes and the smile was bruised but had an insanity feel to it.
ME- Mmmph mmmph
Courtney's mum- Can't speak can we???
Her eyes turned green as she spoke with a threatening and dark voice, it was like she has been possessed, i have never seen this side of her before, she was always a happy joyful person who couldn't even harm a fly, in fact she would run away if she saw a fly whilst simultaneously laughing it off, what happened?
Courtney's mum- You know... If you had just left the house when you saw that no one was home you wouldn't be in this position, helpless and fate all in my hands. Why did you come anyway?...
My hands were trembling and i was sweating in fear, i said nothing and tried to breathe as calmly as i could. It didn't matter anyway as she had a glint in her eye and smiled insanely and laughed heartlessly.
Courtney's mum- Ohhh i see, is this about your precious little daughter, oh sorry, ex- daughter, you have divorced her mother just now because of a scandal? Hahaha, if only you knew i set the whole thing up to ruin you and your family. Courtney needs to have better friends than that worthless ****, i also needed to make sure your family, sorry ex-family would not be in contact with Courtney's soon to be extinct father. It needs to be perfect, i have it all under control, Courtney will think her father is lousy and a cheater who left his soooo innocent and harmless wife when really he was murdered by his more richer and powerful ex wife... ME!
As she shouted and exclaimed her words, the blood on the dagger flew off in my direction and splattered me on the face. Courtney's mum didn't seem to mind a bit and continued as if nothing ever happened.
Courtney's mum- I will become more powerful and rich, I will eventually rule the world, I.WILL.BE.INVINCIBLE!!!
Behind her, the unknown man slowly woke up, his eyes actions mirrored my eyes actions as he saw me, he seems to recognise me, do i know him?
Courtney's mum- But of course, all of that won't start until i have all of this baffons money and his life, ONLY THEN, will i be able to succeed with my plan and nobody will suspect A THING, nobody, not even you, after i have finished with you... Speaking of which though, it is getting a little bit tiring, murdering people and getting away with it, let's not only use physical pain but emotional pain.
My eyes reached it's limit as i kept on thinking the same thing, what will she do to me? This man is my best friend? What have i done?
Courtney's mum brought the dagger close to her hand and wiped the blood of it and flicked it onto me as i flinched in horror.
Courtney's mum- Let's play would you rather, would you rather die slowly and painfully to death simultaneously with your BEST FRIEND, or would you rather betray your BEST FRIEND and forcefully forget the whole thing.
I can't trust this evil woman, what am i going to do? Suddenly i heard some mumbling as Courtney's mum smile faded away and grimaced as she turned towards her husband.
Courtney's mum- YOU'RE STILL ALIVE???! YOU SHOULD BE DEAD! Oh well... one more try won't hurt. Any last words in front of your BEST FRIEND?!
She went closer to him and held the dagger against his right hand.
Courtney's father- Leave him alone, please i beg you, don't do this to him, please.
Courtney's mum- WHO ARE YOU TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO??!! YOUR LIFE IS IN MY HAND AND IT WILL SOON COME TO AN END! But.. that's not a bad idea, killing two birds with one stone or in this case a dagger.. this way both of you will be in pain for the rest of your life, so much so you might as well die... DIE!!!
She viciously sliced off his right hand as he screamed in agony and blood was splattered all over her and me. She then put the knife down gently and picked up a heavy wrench, with glee and happiness in her eye she came towards me and stood behind me. She grabbed me with her hands and yanked my chin up so i was facing her.
Courtney's mum- You know, making you forget this is an extremely bad idea, i could just kill you, buttt.. it was my husbands last wish for you to be alive, sooo, i will leave you alone and you can remember this memory, remember the day when you put guilt, shame and pain on your ex-family and the day your best friend died.
Courtney's mum viciously yanked my head down and slowly stalked her way to the tools and and slammed the wrench on the floor making a loud bang, she didn't even flinch as no more did my best friend, she carefully picked up a needle and stalked slowly back towards me.
Courtney's mum- Take one last look at your best friend, the only person you had left in your life.
I suddenly felt a sharp and painful sting before blacking out completely, when i woke up i heard beeps and the smell of disinfectant, i woke up and was surrounded by bright light.
Nurse- Oh thank heavens you're awake we thought you would have never made it, you were involved in a car accident with another person, unfortunately, you are the only survivor. A few more days in the hospital and you will be okay to go home. Is there anyone waiting for you?
I slowly opened my mouth to speak.
