"What were you thinking? You nearly gave me a heart attack!" Rory exclaimed, at the breakfast table the next morning. My chin was perched on the palm of my hand, tiredly, as I watched him pace back and forth.

"I already told you that I couldn't sleep and needed some "me" time." I tried explaining, before taking another sip of tea. Rory, stopped pacing, looked at me, and shouted, "Why didn't you tell anyone?!"

"You and Lilian were asleep, and Luke was sorting the files from that box we found." I simply answered, pinching the bridge of my nose. I was really tired, however; I must have only gotten a few hours of sleep last night, but I'm not about to admit that to Rory.

Finally, Rory sighed, and sat down in a wooden chair on the other side of the table. "Just never do that again," he pleaded. I muffled a giggle and responded, "Can't promise a single thing," before taking another sip of my tea.

I saw Rory facepalm himself, and I couldn't hold it in anymore; I burst into laughter. Rory looked at me in confusion, and I calmed myself down. "What's so funny?" he asked. My voice still laced with giggles, I pointed at him, and answered, "You."

Rory gave me an offended look, and I pointed out, "You're acting like an older brother." Rory then realized that he was, in fact. acting like an older brother. I saw his face go red, and I laughed even harder.

"I mean someone has to look after you." he commented in return. I perched my elbow on top of my palm, and we sat there in a tense silence for a long time. "So, what are we doing today?" I asked, finally breaking the too awkward silence.

Rory threw his hands in the air and suggested, "We could leave, there's nothing for us here."

"No, we're definitely staying a little bit longer. Luke said he would explain what was in the file once he completed sorting." I explained to him.

"I thought you said that we were going to retrieve the file." Rory reminded me of my comment from earlier. I held a finger up, and said, "I never said we would, I said I had a feeling."

Again Rory groaned as he remembered that I was right. I smirked at him, and he said, "Okay, we can't leave. What do we do?" "How about we just explore some of Boston. I've always been interested in this city, but I've never got the chance to actually observe and explore." I suggested.

Rory perked up, and he smiled. "Never knew you were into history that much." I shrugged as my cheeks turned red from embarrassment, and admitted, "I like history, but being raised in an Academy for spies, I had to bury that fondness."

Rory gave me a smirk, and said, "Well did you know that Boston was named after a city in England, and a wave of molasses flooded Boston , and the first lighthouse in America was built in the harbor, and..."

"Okay, I get it, you also really like history." I cut him off, crossing my arms in front of my chest, pretending to be angry. Rory stood up, and patted my arm before saying, "Let's go explore then if you really want to know the facts."

I groaned, and thought to myself, "Why is it always the boys teaching me? Can a girl like Lilian teach me anything?" However, I got up anyway and followed Rory out the door.
