Rory's Point of View
I winced a little as an agent tied my already scraped wrists onto the arms of the chairs tightly. Once the agent walked away from the chair, my eyes immediately went to the door Zylina just disappeared through.
"Who's in there, talking to her?" I asked, defiance and anger filling my voice.
"None of your concern." Archer spat, as he leaned back on a sofa behind Luke and Lilian.
"When it has to do with Zylina and her safety, you better believe it's my concern. Tell me who it is, now!" I yelled out, not giving any thought to the possible consequences.
I saw Lilian snap her head up, and stare at me with pleading eyes that said, "You're going to get hurt."
Sure enough, Lilian was right; in a matter of seconds one of the agents had stomped over to me, and slammed his fist into my cheek-bone. Immediately, warm blood started to drip from my nose.
"Sir, do you want me to gag this one?" the agent, who had just punched me, asked. A part of me told me that was for the best; if I couldn't talk, then my worry about Zylina wouldn't get me punched every five minutes.
Archer looked at me, and gave a spine-chilling grin; that's never a good sign. He stood up from the sofa, and walked over to the agent that had punched.
"No, no. That's alright. I'll take him to the other room, and teach him a lesson myself." My heart skipped a beat, and I swallowed my fear so it wouldn't become visible to the agents around me.
Archer looked over his shoulder, still grinning, and called out, "Josiah, how about you come with? I can show you what it means to be a true man."
I instantly looked in the direction Archer was looking when the name Josiah hit my ear. Sure enough, the young boy Zylina and I had met on our first mission was standing stiffly next to the wall; How did we not notice him when we entered the room?
I saw him avert his eyes back and forth between Archer and me, and I'm pretty sure I saw a drop of sweat trickle down his forehead.
After a moment, Josiah nodded and walked toward us. "Are you sure, sir? I don't think he can take it." the agent whispered.
"I'm sure." Archen walked behind me, and I felt myself tip backwards with the chair, and the chair drag away from Luke and Lilian. I saw Luke try to struggle against his restraints, and I gave him a quick shake of the head to tell him to stop; I didn't need them getting hurt worse than they were.
Thankfully, he stopped once he saw me shake my head, and I let myself be dragged away from the two people I came here to rescue in the first place.

Zylina's Point of View
"So, how's life been for you and Rory?" the boss asked, leaning forward. I didn't answer; I just stared at him from where I was sitting, anger flaring in my eyes.
"I see your silence hasn't changed a bi-"
"Why don't you just knock me out or something?" I exclaimed, not being able to handle small talk anymore.
The boss gave me an innocent smile, and shrugged his shoulders, "What do you mean?"
"Obviously this was a trap to capture Rory and me, so since you got us, why don't you actually knock us out or something to take us back?" I explained more specifically, with as much sass as I could put into my voice.
The boss was unfazed by my comment, and he balled up his hands together as he leaned forward in his seat, still innocently smiling. "I don't want to harm you, so I am giving you the choice to come cooperatively."
Another look of defiance crossed my face, but I quickly got rid of it, so I wouldn't get punished. "Why would you think I would go back with you? After what I learned?" I spat.
The boss sighed, and reached underneath the table, and pulled out several tablet looking devices. He set them down on the table except for one; he pointed the screen towards him, and a couple of seconds later there was a dim glow shining on his face.
I was confused about what the Boss was doing, until he looked up from the tablet's screen, and smirked, before turning the tablet towards me, and showing me the screen.
My breath got caught somewhere in my lungs as I examined the screen; it was a live-feed video, and Rory's parents were the stars of it.
