Zylina's Point of View
The door unlocked and Luke, followed by Lilian came striding out; Rory and I stood up from the sofa, and watched as the twins halted in front of us. I raised my eyebrow, and waited for answers.
I saw Luke's eyes dart between Rory and me, like he was trying to decide whether to tell us what he had been keeping from us. "Well, are you going to tell us what secret you've been keeping?" I asked him, throwing my hands into the air. Luke looked back at Lilian, who nodded, before turning back to us.
"I don't want you to see the file because it might get personal for you." Luke sighed; now I was extremely intrigued, but also a little worried to find out the truth.
"Wha....What? Why?" I stuttered, with a nervous chuckle laced into it. I glanced back at Rory for a split second, but I immediately could tell that he was asking the same question in his head.
Luke looked down at his feet for a moment, before locking eyes with me, and saying, "The file is about you, and how you were part of some experiment when you first arrived at the Academy."
Everything I was thinking dispersed from my mind, and I felt my confused expression melt away into a shocked face. "What k...kind of experiment." I asked, finally finding my words. I could feel Rory move a little closer to my side in a protective gesture.
"I don't know, that's why we need those papers. They'll tell us what kind of experiment it was, and what they did to you." Luke explained to us. Sighing deeply, I nodded in agreement, and looked over at Lilian.
"So, what did you two decided?" I asked, hoping to change the subject. Luke glanced back at his sister, and then exclaimed, "She's going in for the kid, while we get those papers."
"Wait, really?" Rory asked. Luke nodded at us, and said, "She believes you need to be there, Zylina, when we find those papers, and after a lot of arguing I agree with her."
"Alright then, if that's the official decision then let's get ready." I say. We all nod, and head up to our separate rooms to prepare, but there's only one thought on my mind, as I put on my uniform, and deal with my hair; should I really be putting Lilian in harm's way after I just gained her trust?

Few hours later....
"Lilian, are you at your destination?" Luke asked, into the phone. We had tracked a cadet to an old business building in the outskirts of town about an hour ago; we had also given Lilian a bandana and hoodie, so her face wouldn't be recognized while on the mission.
"Yep, I'm hiding behind a dumpster right now, but I still have eyes on the cadets." she responded. I could hear the tremble in her voice, although I knew Lilian was trying to hide it.
"What does it look like, Lillian?" I asked, nudging Luke aside. "There's a cadet at the door, but no one else around." she reported.
Luke tried pushing me back down in the seat, and he took control of the phone. "Rory just called from the old Academy facility, the place is clear, and we're ready to go in. Remember the plan Lil, get in, try to avoid any fights, get the kid, and then get out. If you can, have Axel guide you back to his house. If the kid can't remember, just go back to the safe house and wait for us. If you do go to the safe house, be sure you're not being followed." he ordered her.
We heard Lilian swallow, and respond with, "O...Okay, be careful at the Academy facility." "We will. Contact us when you have the kid, and you're safe. If you're not out by the time we find those papers, we'll come and help." Luke told her.
There was a pause, before we heard Lilian say, "Alright, I'm going in." The click of the call ending was the last thing we heard before the truck Luke and I were sitting in was filled with deep silence.
I sighed, and asked in almost a whisper, "She knows how to fight a little, right?" Luke nodded his head in response, before leaning back in the driver's seat.
"It's not a lot; I've only been teaching her since we went into hiding from the Academy. It should be enough to get her through this." he told me, putting the key into the ignition, and starting the engine.
"You believe in her, right?" I asked. Luke turned to me with an expression filled with determination and boldness.
"Of course." he simply uttered, before pulling out from where we were parked, and driving out of town towards the old Academy facility.
