Sumama na si Lukas sa table namin since mag isa lang din naman sya dito. May mga ilang babaeng gustong makipag usap sa kanya pero sya lang 'tong masungit ayaw pumansin.

Mom and dad greet him nung nakalapit na kami sa kanila ganon din ang ginagawa ni Lukas. They were talking about something ng biglang naging dim ang lights sa Hall. Napatigil sa pag uusap doon sila mama at nagfocus nalang sa harap. I saw Dianne mom and dad standing on the stage right now.

Sumunod din si Kyron.

He looks handsome standing tall on that stage, katabi nya na ngayon ang kapatid. Dianne is beautiful too wala na syang suot na salamin ngayon she had make up also. She looks so elegant wearing that demure fancy gold dress bagay na bagay sa kanya.

The big tv screen on the stage start to play videos about what their company achieved on this past few decades. Ipinakita din doon ang educational background ni Kyron, how much he put hardwork in their company and so on...

We were silently watching their success until the screen announces Kyron named who will be taking over the company next year. I suddenly feel proud at him. He is young about 25 years old I think, kaedadan ni Lukas but he achieved big success on his lifetime.

Napaaga lang ang announcement because his dad wants to finish his one more year in the company so he can retired peacefully. After that Kyron will taking over and manage it.

Mabilis lang din namang natapos yon. Nagpalakpakan din ang ibang guest. My mom and dad too was happy on that news. They give him applause for his success.
He is in now in the middle of the stage bowing his head while thanking everyone who congratulates him.

Napapalakpak din ako doon and I am happy for him. He still young marami pa syang maabot na pangarap.

I noticed Lukas who currently on my side doens't impressed at all and don't give a damn about this. I wave my hand on his face galit nya akong binalingan.

"What?" he crossed his arms this time at ng may dumaang waiter na may dalang alcohol agad syang kumuha doon at nilagok.

We have wine in our table pero di nya yon ginagalaw.

Crowd are still applausing Kyron. Si Lukas lang ang hindi.

"Your not impress? Kyron is a hardworking son. Imagined he finished his study in just 3 years then after a year he study their business. Now he will be taking over it."

to be honest if he will be my brother ako ang unang unang magiging proud sa kanya.

Lukas just look at me with a mocking smile on his thin lips.

"He's still a beginner Marina. Ellias still be on the top just to earn my respect."

I feel confused on what he said so, what he mean by that? Ellias has more a hard working son and had much more in-dept business experience ganon.

I was about to question him about Ellias experiences when suddenly. Fernando Villavicente, father of Kyron is now lift his arm to have a toast.

Nabaling ang atensyon namin doon. Lukas let out a big sighed tila hindi interesado.

"I want to congratulate my son for the next CEO of our company, so let's giving him a toast."

The crowded roar and took their wine to cheers.

Nakigaya nalang din ako. Mom and dad knocked their wine glass into mine. Lukas has still holding his empty glass of alcohol. Not minding his own glass of wine.

I slowly sip my wine. It taste rotten grapes actually. But it's not disgusting it still sweet.

After that toast Kyron came down on stage again, and immediately shook his hands with people with the same popular names in the business approached him.
