Unknown's Pov

It was a close call, he almost saw her or maybe he actually did see her, Sighing as I rake my fingers through my hairs and my heart is filled with worry. I can't take anymore risks.

The only option left is to shift her some place else, I know it will be difficult for her to cope with a new environment but what choice does my lovely daughter is left with other than to find some other place to hide but also it's the only option we've got, for her to stay dead and safe, far away from that virile ex husband of hers.

Taking in my surroundings, the only sound that could be heard throughout the whole place is the sound of a heart monitor. Moving my eyes to the figure that is laying on the hospital bed. My eyes stay fixed at the scar that covers the right side of her face, starting form her forehead moving across her cheek to her the beginning of her chin in the right side. It is no longer the purple bluish color as it was... It has healed and what remains is a pink line which can be removed by plastic surgery. But person that has it denied for it to be covered claiming she wants to remember what she has lost, how she was betrayed and how cruel this world is.

Moving myself to sit on the chair that is placed besides her bed. I move my hand to take her left one and enfold them together.

This moment reminds me of that fateful day when she woke up from a bullet wound. The day that she lost everything even her very own unborn child and herself too.

All these years she has been existing and not living, she is just a shell of a person she used to be. Currently she's someone that is scared of going out, scared of people, it's safe to say she's scared of everything both the living and the nonliving. She no longer smiles and when she does it's rare and still their fake smiles as they no longer make her eyes shine with innocence, happiness and hope. I know that she is still suffering from her trauma and heartbreak, she has not healed, sometimes I wonder if she ever will.

Looking at her face that is currently so pale it's as if she doesn't have any blood in her body. Moving onto her lips that are currently being covered by an oxygen mask. My heart aches for this innocent girl, hasn't she suffered enough.

I remember when she had just been married to Anwar. She used to be so full of hope, laughter, love, happiness. kindhearted and her faith in the almighty lord was never weak.

She was so innocent that she didn't even know how to curse. She was this cute little girl with milky pale skin. Thick black eyebrows, long thick lashes that one can mistake them for a fake one due to how beautiful they are, her eye color was so hypnotizing that one couldn't decipher what color to call them as they are this bluish coupled with greenish color with gold flex in between, her lips are plump with red color but what made her like an angel were the dimples in both her cheeks that they tend to come out whenever she speaks or laugh or even smile and her nose is a button little nose that's so cute makes you feel like you want to pinch it, but what makes her more captivating is when your lucky to see her waist long straight hairs that are so black like a raven's feathers and are so silky and smooth. I had first seen her without her hijjab when Anwar's nephew ziyad a son from his deceased brother, pulled the hijjab out of her head as she Did not secure it with a pin so it was easy for ziyad to take it off. The boy ran all around the compound declaring that his beautiful aunt will be his future wife when he grows up. And that the hijab is his souvenir.

Nazreen kept running after him, while at the same time trying to cover her head with her hands. It was so hilarious and cute at the same time. Especially seeing Nazreen 's red face due to her blushing.

But now despite of still being beautiful and innocent. She is no longer that hopeful, happy girl. She's just an innocent woman that has lost so much and she's only trying to survive her demons and the pain that this cruel world as inflicted on her.

I know that she hides her whole face after the accident, thinking that she looks ugly and people who will see her  when she goes out will stare at her, judge her and some will call her a monster.

I just wish she could know that the scar accentuates what she has been through it does not make her any less beautiful as she is still beautiful, cute innocent and kind-hearted Nazreen despite of changing her name to Yasmeen. If only she could see herself through my eyes.

I love this tiny ... Innocent girl so much as i view her as the daughter that I never had.

Feeling tired I lay my head gently on her stomach. However my mind is working hard to find a better solution to our current problem which is. When Nazreen had started to pass out in the grocery store one of the people who tended to her was Bilal. Thou at first he didn't see her face as she covers her whole body accept for her eyes. But when he removed her niqab he was shocked to see her and all he could do was stare at her.

It's a good thing the grocery store owner knows me and knows about Nazreen's condition that when she had started to have an attack he called me immediately.

But also it's not good at the same time as Bilal saw Nazreen and he saw me carrying her away. Eventually he'll Connect the dots. What I want to know is what was he doing in this small town in the middle of no where.

I know that Bilal will start to dig on Nazreen's death and am afraid he'll find out she's alive.

And once he discovers she's alive then he'll report back to his best friend and boss, Anwar. I also know that Anwar will do everything in his power to find her but I don't want him to. I want him to suffer knowing that the woman he loves might be alive but is somewhere in the world hating him, hiding from him and never wants to see him.

I want him to suffer just like she did. That's why I resigned from being his lawyer as soon as I had given him the divorce papers telling him to process them himself and to look for another lawyer to do his legal works.

After resigning I shifted my law firm to some other place away from Anwar and his organization. A place where I could investigate thoroughly on what exactly happened the night he shot his wife. Because I believed Nazreen would never betray anyone let alone the man she loved so much and trusted.

I conducted an investigation through out the whole decade just to find an evidence that could prove Nazreen's innocence. And thank God, I did find it from Fahad Khan the son of Ammar Khan the man who framed Nazreen.

The son survived and is now an honest business man who has been haunted and regretting what he did to Nazreen as his father forced to do what he directed him to do otherwise he'll kill his sister. Inorder to save his sister he took part in destroying Nazreen's marriage.

However, he wanted to prove her innocence and he had an evidence that will clear out her name. And it was in a form of a video tape that he gladly handed it over to me.

The video tape contained recordings of all the planning that Ammar Khan had been doing and how he was directing his son to frame Nazreen. But also on how they morphed the pictures that showed  Nazreen being in a relationship with Fahad Khan alias Ahmad to Nazreen.

The video was to be shown to Anwar Khan after killing his wife. Just this show him that he had taken an innocent life. And then he was to be killed by Ammar Khan that same night but anwar would die knowing he committed a grave mistake. However, the plan didn't work as Bilal and Islam along with Anwar's army were able to locate them soon but not soon enough as Nazreen had already taken multiple gun shots that were aimed as Anwar.

When Anwar's men raided the place and killing Ammar Khan and his men. Fahad Khan was able to escape with the video tapes as he wanted to later on give them to Anwar to prove the innocence of Nazreen so that he can forgive his wife. But his plan failed as a couple of days later through television news he saw the announcing of Nazreen's death along with other patients and doctor's in the hospital.

When Fahad Khan handed over the video tapes. I wasted no time on copying them to multiple disks and one of them I sent to Nazreen's very own insolent husband.

I will not let him into her life unless she says so.....
