When we reached the bottom of the stairs, Christina stood there with flour all over her face and Luke laughing his head off. "Seriously you guys? This is not the time to be fooling around" I said, scolding Luke, as he tried to contain his laughter, but failed miserably.

Simon and I shared a look that said,"We are never letting him cook again" We did not say that out loud of course though.

"I'm sorry Joyce, I was just trying to lighten the mood." Lucielle said from behind me. I spun around quickly, she stood in the doorway, a smile on her face, and  yet looking as innocent as a newborn. I glared at her, mentally killing her.

"Are you okay Christina?" Simon asked, getting a hand towel damp and removing the flour from her face. Lucielle looked at me, as if she was trying to see into my soul, I didn't appreciate it, so I looked away. "What were your trying to make anyway?" I asked, looking over at Luke. He shrugged, not caring.

"Bread" Christina said simply. I nodded and grabbed the broom from behind the fridge, to clean up the mess. "Ekkk" I squealed, running out of the laundry room, rubbing my hands against the loose victorian dress I was wearing.

"What happened Joyce?" Simon asked, his face going pale. I took a couple deep breaths, trying to catch my breath. "There was a huge ass spider on that broom" I said, sitting on the counter, and placing my head between my knees. Simon walked over to Luke and whispered something in his ear before walking out of the kitchen. "Where is Simon going?" Lucielle asked, twirling a strand of golden hair around her finger.

I glared at her, but she didn't notice. She just put me on edge. Everything about her just seemed wrong, and not just because she was supposed to be dead. I mean I was invited to her funeral for gods sake! None of that really mattered though, all that mattered was that we needed answers, and we might all die trying to get them. Curosity always did kill the cat.
