Josh:

We were probably the only ones on Cap's side right now, but I knew we had to get off of this Tricarrier or we would all be dead meat whether by electrified bracelets, crazy psycho Hydra agents, or even Cap's hopeful sucess in taking down the carriers. We all knew he could do it. So the plan was to get the hell off of that carrier and take down as many Hydra loyalists as we could on our way out.

Looking behind me I saw James clutching his shoulder. He had been shot. I couldn't tell with all the blood but it looked like it was pretty bad maybe even too close to his heart.

"Daniella can get us out," he pointed at a nearby jet.

Good man. He was still focused on saving the team even with his injury. Even with the adrenaline though I knew he would be in bad shape pretty soon and we could not afford to have to carry another person.

We were pinned behind some crates and the jet was a straight shot about ten yards in front of us. The problem was there would be no cover whatsoever. The timing would have to be exactly right. James looked over at me.

"You give the order and we will run," he said.

There was no way we would make it. The danger was too real because if I messed up the whole team could end up getting killed. The deck seemed to clear for a split second it was now or never.

"Now!"

Dashing out Xerox gave us cover multiplying himself a couple dozen times which I figured would severely drain his energy. Dove was up in the air zooming back and forth seeking out attackers to take them down before they engaged us, but still keeping close. Shots were fired. Jolt couldn't deflect them because he was carrying Tom's limp body while supporting James.

"Dart," I heard Dove yell. She pointed towards two men with rifles. In an instant Dart was on them like an attack dog.

Bullets were whizzing past us from an unknown source. We kept runnning, but i wasn't sure what was happening to the bullets. None of us had been hit yet but it was like something had been blocking us from them. We reached the jet and Dove landed in the middle of us James opened the door. We ran inside it was close quarters because of all the Adrians. He shrank back down to only one of himself. We looked on as he lay on the ground in pain.

Dove rushed over to him, and James yelled, "what happened?"

"His doubles took all of those bullets, and he could feel them all, but they didn't hit him as hard as if his real self had been hit."

He stood up and I could see the bruises that now covered most of his body. And I had thought this kid was a wimp, but he literally took bullets for all of us. I guess he is a better person than I thought.

"Dart get us in the air!!" I yelled. The jet shook to life and was rising off the ground when one of our turbines was hit by something. We hit the landing strip of the carrier.

"Well this peice of junk isn't going to make it to the ground now." Dart yelled out.

"You're going to have to jump us out."

"The plane has to be moving for me to jump it."

"All you have to do is get us out," I told her.

"Maybe if there were only four of you but we added Tom. I have to be in contact with everyone I jump and that would be hard to maintain with Tom unconscious. I can't risk taking a second trip they are going to blow this jet any second."

"I can get Adrain out if you drop us into the sky. He is light enough," Dove spoke up.

"Nuh uh you've never carried that much weight in flight before. Plus there are people shooting at us."

"I know I can do it. I would carry Tom, but he is out cold and he will weigh more, and the shooters won't even know we are gone."

"No I'm not letting you do it what if you fall?"

"I won't. I can do it! Trust me!" she looked at me, but I couldn't lose her not after everything we had been through.

"You know I can do it."

I had to put my faith in her eventually. "Alright do it."

"Everyone hold on to me," Dart grimaced as we put our hands on her. James grabbd her hand reasuringly. Dove was already holding Xerox and I was holding her. He made a snarky comment, but other than that it was like a big group hug. "You ready?" she asked Dove. Dove nodded. We all closed our eyes and thrust forward or up or what ever direction it was. We suspended in the air for a split second and Dove and Adrian let go. Not even a second later we were on the ground with our stomachs all back on the tricarrier. Dove was up in the sky with Adrian. We were down here to just to watch if anything went wrong.

Dove snapped open her wings jerking them upward at bonesnapping speeds. That wasn't going to feel good later if they made it. James spoke up, "they aren't slowing down."

"Just give her a second," I tried to reasure myself. She flapped her wings hard spotting us and trying to glide in our direction. They jerked down quickly, but still at a somewhat controlled rate. The jerk must have been too hard on her hold of Adrian. He slipped down to where they were each only holding one forearm. They were a hundred yards away swooping towards us. I was scared he would slip the rest of the way and fall. She didn't exactly have the best upper body strength.

They were coming in sideways over the strip of concrete in front of us. A few feet from the ground she let his feet hit the ground and he ran forward a few yards with his arms in the air. She extended her wings back to stop herslef, but not quite slowing down enough ran straight into Ethan who had just set down both Tom and James. They fell to the ground. At the same time we heard an explosion in the distance. The Insight Carriers were shooting each other and falling into the river below.

We all cheered because we knew Cap had just saved millions of lives.
