Dart:

"Look, I don't know who sent you. I do not know why they sent you. All I know, is that you jeopardized the safety of quite possibly every human on earth. And here's the thing, I may not like any of them very much, but it is my job to protect them."

She laughed. "They sent Fury's watchdog to dispatch of me? How sweet." She cooed mockingly. "Are they going to give a treat after, maybe like letting you go on your first mission? Or are you too much of a let down for that still?" She was sneering at me, trying to press my buttons. One thing was for sure, this was not Dove.

"I'm curious, did you really think you wouldn't get caught?" I cocked my head to the side, slowly shifting my weight into a crouch so that I could attack.

"Actually, I was kind of counting on it. An opportunity to kill one of the Avengers? How exciting is that?" She laughs coldly and then looks at me and sighs with disappointment. "I guess you will have to do for now." She starts to circle me and I match her step for step.

"It was Hydra wasn't it?"

She laughs, stopping her circling because she apparently found my guess so funny. "Hydra has nothing on us. Their invasion of SHIELD is child's play compared to what we can do."

I watched her carefully, gauging her reaction. "Weapon X?"

She clicks her tongue and shakes her head. "Tsk tsk, you really should know your enemies better than that. How else do you expect to beat them?"

"E-tech." I breathed out the answer, knowing before she said it that I was right.

"Very good Daniella."

I glared at her. "You have no right to call me that."

"Ohh, I'm sorry," Her voice was dripping with sarcasm and hatred, "I just guessed since your little boyfriend could, that I could too."

"Leave them out of this." I snapped at her.

She snapped her fingers, and the wall seperating us from the others became transparent. They were all shouting at me and banging on the wall, trying to get me to come out.

"Don't worry, I am making sure that they don't get involved."

I narrowed my eyes at her. 'Damn cyber-kinetic.'

"This is just you and me, and then, once you are gone, the real Dove will rush too save you, as she will be the only one able to break through my blockage of the lock systems. And then I will kill her too, and make it look like I was the one who died." She laughed, light and airy as if this was all a game to her, "And then do you know what I am going to do?"

"Burn in Hell?"

"Yes, but before that. I am going to tear this world apart so that all the pathetic humans with no power manifestation are no longer safe, so that only we, the powerful adapters can survive." Her eyes were ablaze with a vision for the future that I was not going to let happen.

"Over my dead body."

"Fair enough." And she sprang at me, her wings flaring out as she shot forward.

I jumped so that I was alongside her path of trajectory through the air, whipping out my knives as I did. As she flew past, I raked two knives through her wings.

"Don't you know? Cyborgs feel no pain! But you humans, all you do is bleed." She whirled to face me her eyes alight with fury.

I sprinted straight at her, and as she braced for my impact, I teleported atop her shoulders. Using her arms as support, I plunged a knife deep into her arm and swung my legs around, so that I flipped her onto the ground on her stomach. She flared her wings and sent my flying through the air.
