Dove:
I woke up short of breath. I could still hear her. The Cyborg. She was in my dream chasing me down and killing everyone I loved along the way. Josh had been there too, but he took her side. It had scared me to death just the thought of him turning on me. I don't even know why I had dreamt that.
I sat up putting my hand to my head to calm myself down. Everyone was still around me asleep on the bean bags where we had been hanging out. Buzz had his arm around Sage. I wondered if that had become a thing while I had been away. Ethan had heard me wake up and was looking at me. He mouthed the words, "are you okay." I nodded hesitantly and he put his head back down closing his eyes. I didn't want him to worry about me though just like everyone had been.
I knew what it was like to feel someone else's pain and I didn't want to do that to anyone of my friends. I didn't wish my problems on any of them.
I pushed myself up of the ground trying to be as silent as possible. I couldn't get out there were too many people so I extended my wings and flapped upward to avoid hitting anyone. Luckily my thieving lifestyle in the past had helped me with stealth while flying. Not even and owl could match my sneakiness. I landed silently and opened the door.
J.A.R.V.I.S. whispered to me in his robotic British voice and I flinched. "Can I get you anything Miss Alexandria?" It was weird hearing that name and trying to register it as my own again. I wasn't used to it. I had been Kris for so long I didn't even know what I wanted to be called anymore. Were had that name even come from. I assumed it was from the Andersons, but why would Tony change it?
"No thanks. I'm good." I replied.
I tiptoed on through the hallway going to explore. It was dimly lit with a few blue lights. I followed a few hallways over remembering which way we had come in. I went past the large living room area and to the left to find the kitchen. Perfect. The fridge just magically seemed to open itself somehow. It was fully stocked and I expected nothing less from Tony. I wasn't sure where to start. Never put an ex-homeless person in a room with a lot of food because hoarding does usually ensue. I grabbed some mint cookies and cream ice cream. I hadn't had ice cream in so long. It's hard to get a hold of on the streets and S.H.I.E.L.D. had kept us on a pretty strict diet while on the helicarriers. A girl's got to eat.
I fetched a spoon out of the silverware drawer and sat up on the counter. I put a spoonful into my mouth. "Oh gosh that's awesome." I whispered. It didn't seem fair. Why was I allowed to have fun while Dylan was somewhere in the building probably in surgery. I felt like I had messed her life up. If she had never met me she wouldn't be hurt. My problems were thrust upon her in the most literal sense and I couldn't help feeling that it was my fault.
I closed my eyes focusing in on James's mind. I knew I wouldn't be able to get her, but maybe him. If I could find him. There he was sitting on the floor waiting silently for her to be okay. I could tell how he felt about her. I had known for a while and I was sure that she felt the exact same way even without having to read her emotions. He was worried, it was taking a long time and he was tired.
Something more was wrong. I knew it had to do with the bomb that other me had dropped in front of us. I'm sure Dylan didn't want us to know about her son, and James seemed not to know anything at all. It was weighing on him. So were her injuries. I couldn't tell what but she was hurt more than we had originally thought.
I sent him a message. "She is going to be okay. I know it." I wasn't even sure if he had heard me, but I hoped he had. I sent him the happiest thought I could think of, using the last few hours as reference. We had played Mario kart for several hours Ethan was terrible at it. Sage and Ozzy had creamed everyone else by teaming up. It was hilarious. Adrian was a giant goof ball the whole time trying to get Sage to like him and messing with Tom or trying to. Tom was too chill to let Adrian embarrass him.

Action"You've got to be joking." I scoffed, glancing around at the others. "We aren't ready." She sniffed and raised her chin, a determined look on her face. "That's why we will do it together." I forced a laugh. "We are hardly a team! You think matching...
