Ethan:
"Well that's just great! Now we are stuck in a cave and have no way out!" Adrian yelled, going to body slam the walls to try and escape. "There's no air! Walls closing in!" He dramatically coughs as if choking and falls on the ground.
I walked over and pulled him to his feet by his shirt collar.
"Dude. Chill."
"I'm sure she just wanted to go get some coffee or something. You know how crabby she gets in the mornings." Dove shrugged, trying to be optimistic.
Josh scoffed and stalked over. "No she probably ditched us. Honestly, she is not a PEOPLE person, and there is no doubt that she isn't too enthralled with this whole 'team' business."
"You guys, Daniella wouldn't leave us. She probably needed to cool off a little after being told her whole life was a lie. She will be back." James interjected.
"No," Josh laughed, "She won't leave you," He jabs a finger into James' chest accusingly. "But what about the rest of us?"
James placed a hand on Josh's shoulder. "She helped Dove escape the cells, and you too. She didn't outright reject Adrian and Ethan after meeting them. She deserves more CREDIT than you give her."
"That still doesn't excuse her leaving us. Don't you think we all had to DEAL with our past too?" Josh yelled, throwing James hand away.
"You had YOUR lifetime to deal with who you are, she had two minutes." James whispers. "You would think that you all would be more understanding." He pauses and shakes his head. "We have all, and excuse my language here, but we have all been through a lot of crap in our LIVES. So shouldn't we recognize the kind of hurt and betrayal she is feeling?"
Dove was looking at the ground a little guiltily before piping up, "Guys, we don't need to fight over this. Whether Dylan comes back or not, we are still in a sticky situation."
"Dove is right." Tom interjects. "You have no resources, no information, and no contact that won't risk your lives. Except maybe one."
"What are you talking about?" Adrian asks as he slouches down on the couch
"Yeah. who are you talking about? S.H.I.E.L.D. is fallen and Fury is most likely dead. Coulson is God knows where. I don't know who we can trust." Dove said in concern.
"Well there is one group that you forgot about that has been a S.H.I.E.L.D. ally for some TIME now."
"Who? Everyone is compromised now." James added.
"Isn't it obvious? Who was the one who came to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s aide?" Tom asked kind of annoyed with us.
"Cap," I whispered. Everyone turned and looked at me. I shrugged. "It was obvious."
"The Avengers? Are you crazy?" Josh almost yelled.
"Yeah there is no way that they would help us. They were one of the groups trying to hunt down the Winged Bandit. Plus there is no way that Dart would AGREE to go considering both of her not parents would be there."
James nodded in agreement to Dove's argument. "You're right. Daniella wouldn't be willing to go there. So we have to trick her into taking us there."
"How?!" Adrian yelled, looking at James like he was mad.
"No you won't have to trick her into going. She will go willingly." Tom insisted.
"Why in the heck would she go willingly?" Josh exclaimed.
"Because YOUR friend here is a dead man walking." He pointed to Dove.
We looked over at Dove.
"Or rather woman. As you know she has a lethal capsule in her brain that releases a deadly poison everything her memories are triggered. Stark is most likely one of the only PEOPLE on the planet that can deactivate it. I bet it has been getting worse hasn't it? What with all of these sharing sessions."
