"Now that.. That escalated quickly."
Dayanah nodded, her shoulder holding her phone as she prepared her classroom.
"But I was right, Dayanah has a sugar daddy~" Hwasa chanted in her ear, making her friend snort.
"I mean.. Sort of." She replied, taking a step back to check her writing. "This man can kiss, and when I say kiss, it's kiss~"
"Yeah I got it you're wiped already." Hwasa teased her.
"It's not about being wiped, it's about making someone feel appreciated.. He seems like a good man."
"You act like you volunteered to feed the homeless, in case you didn't notice, that man is far from being homeless.. Don't know if you noticed the Rolex on his wrist but I sure did."
Dayanah snorted, looking at the clock in her classroom.
"Well I have to go, school starts soon."
Hwasa hummed in response and they both said goodbye before hanging up, Dayanah standing at the door of her classroom.
All the children arrived quickly and Dayanah had to admit, Koreans were really serious about being on time, especially when it came to school.
Baram arrived with his mother, and Dayanah took a moment to look at Jieun, wondering if she knew about her husband's whereabouts.
Jieun was taller than her, probably 170 centimeters tall or even a little more.
She had that light brown hair color lots of Korean woman go for, a white blouse with a black bow around the neck with a very light grey pencil skirt that fell above her knees, her Chanel bag hanging on her shoulder, black high heels clicking on the floor.
She didn't even took a glance at Dayanah, kissing her son's head before turning around as he entered the classroom, showing lots of enthusiasm at the sight of his teacher.
He was the last one to arrive so Dayanah closed the door behind the two of them but before she could start to speak, Baram fished something in his backpack, running back to her.
"Choccy teacher ! My dad told me to give you this, he said it's our secret !" He said excitedly, handing her an envelope.
Dayanah was clearly surprised, eyes slightly widening but she still nodded, taking it and thanking him before standing at the front of the classroom, sitting criss-cross on the floor in front of them.
She didn't like sitting on a chair, she preferred children to see her as an equal rather than some kind of superior person they should be afraid of.
It built trust.
The morning went by well and at break time, when all children went to play she stayed inside as it wasn't her day to look after them in the playground.
She sat at her desk and opened the envelope, seeing a check with a small piece of paper, a number written on it.
A small smile formed on her lips and she quickly pulled her phone out of her desk, composing it.
After a few rings it answered, a voice she started to know too well being heard.
"Hello ?"
"Hi.. It's Dayanah."
She heard him almost choke at the other end of the phone, her eyebrows furrowing.
"Are you okay ?"
"Yeah I wasn't.. Really expecting you to call me that's it." Namjoon answered, clearing his throat.
"Am I interrupting-"
"No, no you're not I was just looking over some papers.. How are you ?"
She sighed, leaning back in her chair.
"I'm fine thank you.. And you ?"
She was slightly nervous, not knowing how to act and what to say really.
"I'm fine.. Really fine, slept well too." He said, a hint of a smile in his voice.
"Oh.. Well I don't want to bring that up but isn't having your phone number a little risky considering you're married ?" She asked.
"It's alright I've got three phones, one for work, one for personal as in family and friends and another one for emergencies." He answered.
"And which one is this one ?"
"Emergencies of course.. You saw the check ?" He asked, obviously getting a little more confident.
Dayanah chuckled nervously, looking down at her desk.
"I told you I didn't want money it's fine."
"I see but I'm a CEO baby, I go my own way either ways." He answered.
She felt her stomach slightly twist, swallowing the lump in her throat.
"Your way or the high-way huh ?"
"Exactly.. But enough about that, when are you free ?" He asked, the sound of a pen heard in the background.
She straightened up on her chair, breathing fastening a little.
"Oh well um.. It's Friday so I'm free starting from tonight.. Except Sunday afternoon, I have to prepare my classes."
Namjoon hummed, the sound of writing being heard.
"Are you fine giving me your address ? I promise I won't come unannounced." He said, sounding focused.
She nodded even though he couldn't see her and gave him her address, Namjoon humming to assure her he was listening.
"Okay.. I pick up Baram at four, bring him home and have a snack, the usual and then I pick you up at.. Eight thirty~.. Is it fine with you ?"
Her eyes slightly widened, kind of taken aback by his sudden proposition.
But then again he was a CEO, it was usual for him to take leads and initiatives.
"Where are we going ?" She asked, chuckling nervously.
"Nothing crazy.. Maybe have a walk and why not end up at the Night Market ?" He proposed.
She nodded in agreement, a small smile coating her lips.
"Okay, fine by me."
"See you later.. By the way I really want to kiss you again." He said, a little bit shyly.
It was cute in a sense.
She chuckled, nodding and at the same time the school bell rang, alerting her that she should go pick up the children.
She gulped, feeling a little bit nervous about what she was about to say.
She felt a little embarrassed for being this flustered when she was a grown woman, but it still felt good in a way.
"You can kiss me whenever.. See you later."
