POV George
When did I fall asleep?
The sun filled my eyes this morning as I first woke up, confused by the unfamiliar room surrounding me. Where am I again?
And then I heard breathing that wasn't mine. I freeze in place as yesterday's events flood my mind and I realize my current situation; I am laying on top of Dream, snuggled into his chest.
My breath hitches as I sit there and think of what to do next, getting deja-vu from the first time this happened on the couch. I pause as I give myself time to process my thoughts. Why am I trying to get away from him when being near him is what I actually want? He already knows my secret and didn't push me away.
I sigh as I readjust my head back on his chest, he stirs a bit in his sleep as I feel his arm move further up my back, holding the top of my body closer causing a very faint purr to arise from me. I can't help but feel happy about my current situation, especially with my ears and tail comfortably out.
I shut my eyes again to try to slip back into sleep, not caring to check the time as I purr comfortably in his arms. I wish things could stay this simple forever.

"Georgie,"
I hear a deep voice coax me out of my sleep, immediately stretching my arms and legs out and letting out a huge yawn, though it sounds sort of similar to a squeak. There's a low chuckle right next to my ear as I peek one of my eyes open to find the source.
"You're adorable" Dream looks down at me, his eyes lighting up as they meet mine. I stare at him a moment, my mind still foggy from my sleep.
"G'morning" I mumble as I rub my eyes.
"Good afternoon," he responds. I grumble as I open my eyes again.
"What time s'it?" I yawn again.
"3pm" he answers back with a smile.
"Fan-tastic" I huff as I turn back into a sleeping position, accidentally kicking the blanket down further.
"We should probably get up, I'm sure Sapnap has been waiting for us." he says while his hand rubs my back gently.
"Don't wanna" I pout, muffled by his chest. I hear him sigh above me.
"C,mon Georgie," he says, a finger lightly dragging up my back, "Wake up."
His hand reaches my head as he starts scratching behind my ear again, I don't think this will ever get old. A rumbling builds up in my chest as I try to fight the feeling keeping me awake, but I'm overcome by the heavenly sensation, constantly nuzzling my head into Dream and my tail swaying rapidly in delight, the movement being enough to keep me awake.
I'm totally and so completely lost in the purrs that I don't hear the sound of the doorknob clicking open and an aggravated Sapnap calling for Dream.
"Dream wake the fuck up it's already 3 and you've been sleeping all da-" he pauses as I finally come to view. Dream swiftly looks up at him, panic overcoming the features on his face as I freeze in place, keeping my face tucked into the side of him.
"Shit" he says, meeting Sap's eyes. I don't think I could bear to see any of this.
"I'm just gonna-" Sapnap turns and immediately exits the room, quickly shutting the door behind him, the faint sound of his footsteps heading down the hall.
I should've gotten up when Dream told me to, we totally could have avoided this if I wasn't such a dumb and stubborn cat. My thoughts are racing as I mentally slap myself for letting myself be discovered twice, just the next day too!
This is why I shouldn't go out anywhere and instead just stay home. But no I was so dumb and oblivious that I didn't realize how big of a mistaken this had been, even if Dream doesn't completely hate me. I'm shaken out of my thoughts as I feel a hand rest on my shoulder.
"I'm so sorry George, this is all my fault I should have locked my door last night or just not have distracted you because you probably would've heard him and been able to cover up or maybe-" He rambles an apology guiltily. I lift my head up and meet his eyes as they sink in sadness, his rambling taking a pause.
"It's not your fault, it's mine for not getting up when you told me to." I sigh, sitting up to get off of him. He sits up after me as I move to the edge of the bed and look down at my hands while I fiddle with them. What am I meant to do now? Sapnap knows now and from the way he reacted, I'm not so sure how he feels.
"I'm sure everything will be okay," Dream breaks the silence from behind me, "Sapnap is a totally understanding person and if you just explain your situation I'm sure he'll accept you all the same." He places his hand on my back, taking me off guard due to the fact that I didn't realize he was sitting next to me now. I sigh heavily, scared of what's to come when I exit this room.
POV Dream
To say George looked nervous was an understatement.
I don't think I could possibly know or understand the way he is currently feeling, but I do know that I want to support and help him as much as I can, also hoping Sapnap is as accepting as I was. But as his closest friend I'm pretty confident everything will turn out okay.
I follow George down the hall as he slowly makes his way to the living room, all cat features hidden away under his hoodie again.
As we enter the room, Sapnap is sitting at the end of the couch, staring down at his phone screen. He looks up as we approach him, remaining across from him on the other side of the coffee table. George is fiddling with his hoodie sleeves again as he stands timidly next to me, unsure of what to say. Sapnap raises an eyebrow.
"I... I wanted to talk to you about what you saw" he mumbles quietly, looking up for a split second until they make eye contact and his eyes trail back down.
"What, you mean the cuddling or the fact that you're literally a cat?" he responds nonchalantly. This is going well. "Personally I don't give a shit, just lock your door next time you two get all 'lovey-dovey" he gags while turning his attention back down to his phone, "It's just straight up weird seeing my two best friends almost kissing." he resumes his scrolling.
George and I stand there, stunned. I look down at him as he stares off into space, probably trying to process what the hell just happened. I knew Sap wouldn't mind the whole cat thing, but to go on like it's nothing is strange, though I'm not that surprised. It is Sapnap after all.
I reach down and grab George's hand from where it stayed idle against him and start to pull him to the kitchen, causing him to almost trip from where the kitchen tiles meet the wooden floors of the living room. He seems stuck in a daze of confusion as I stop him against the counter.
"You okay?" I ask him, concerned for his lack of emotion.
"Yeah.. I just can't believe I exposed myself like that two days in a row," he huffs, bringing his attention to me.
"But now you don't have to hide yourself from me or him." I smile as I gently pull his hood down off his head before grabbing his other hand to squeeze it softly. He smiles back up at me as he returns the gesture.
He looks down at my lips and back up to meet my eyes, I watch as his tongue darts out to swipe across his own.
I reach up to gently hold his chin, tilting his head up more to face me. Our lips meet as I lean forward and kiss him softly.
It's then in this moment where I feel as though it is just us two alone, time seemingly slowing down only making the kiss last longer. Thousands of thoughts normally racing through my head have been replaced by him and him alone, his light touch sending bolts of electricity to run through my body as he melts into the kiss and his hand rises to gently cradle my face.
We pull apart, breathless and trying to catch our lungs up to the outside air. I let out a winded chuckle as I realize just how much I have really fallen for this man.
