Chapter 7 - I'll Fix Myself I Promise
Draco doesn't recall any of his people or friends having green eyes. He ponders for a moment trying to recall any outsider, but to no avail either. He squints and coils further back from the hand caressing his cheek. He looks around the room to see if anyone else see's what he does but then realizes that he is alone.
He opens his mouth to question him ask him who he is, where he came from, anything that can get him answers. But then the metal door he hates so much opens abruptly. The shadowy figure disappearing in mere seconds almost as if it hadn't appeared in the first place.
"Four hours have passed, do you have no need for the chemical?" The doctor asked his face covered by the mask he hid behind. "Bah, no matter! I'll give you some more."
Draco's stomach lurched,"No, please, no...", his voice drew quieter as the doctor stepped on the button.
"You know, my assistant has been bugging me to participate in the experiment. I'm thinking of allowing her to supervise you after a few weeks. How about it?" The doctor chuckled as he lifted his foot off and tapped his cheek to make eye contact.
The male simply blinked and dozed off once more not responding to his question. The last thing he remembers that day is the strict face the doctor holds as he watches him shut down from exhaustion.
His eyes snap open, he looks up and this time finds himself staring up at a pale grey sky, he sees that the trees obscure parts of the sky but he pays no attention to it. He would much rather find answers to how he ended up here. He sits up from his position, he purses his lips in finding that he was on a dirty forest path.
There are leaves scurrying among the patch of land he laid upon and a breeze comes keen creating goosebumps on his arms. In the darkness of the forest it could be beautiful. But for some odd reason he can't find himself to be in awe from it. Instead his eyes are drawn to a crouched figure in the distance of the eerie forest.
Draco pauses debating if he should approach this mysterious gent in the night, the green grass was charcoal like and two-dimensional, he can see the trees pushing him forward almost as an encouragement to close the distance between him and the other. He takes a deep breath and steps closer and closer until he recognizes it. It's that same shadow figure!
