you arrived at the bus stop at 1:50, 10 minutes before the meeting time.
you wanted to arrive before monoma does but it won't probably ever happen since the moment you exit the bus, you already saw monoma sitting on the bench.
his face lit up when he saw you and you smiled back.
"i just can't seem to arrive earlier." you said and guided him to where you want him to take for the date.
"don't bother arriving early anymore, i'll always be the one waiting for you." monoma replies and you look away, hiding a grin.
"geez, i just arrived you know?" you said and chuckled.
monoma chuckled with you and you've never seen such a beautiful man like him.
his smile just literally makes your day.
and monoma can say the same.
the both of you arrived outside an arcade, which was the talk of town since it first opened weeks ago, and you absolutely want to go in with monoma.
"i see that this arcade piqued your interest as well? let's play, shall we?" monoma said and you nodded eagerly.
the both of you walked inside the loud arcade filled with kids, teenagers, adults and even seniors.
your eyes dance around the different game machines and booths, there was even a second floor.
you bought the card but monoma insisted on splitting the price since he didn't want you to pay for everything.
"let's try that out, monoma!" you exclaimed and dragged him to the air hockey game machine.
"let's set some rules." monoma adds as the two of you waited since the game machine's still being used.
"yeah? what is it?" you queried.
"if i win," monoma paused for a thrill and you leaned closer. "hm?" you hummed in curiosity.
"if i win, you'll have to say yes to a question i'll ask later." you tilt your head to the side as you look at him.
"and if i win?" you ask this time.
"then you have the decision to say no to whatever i will ask later." he said. you thought for a while and grinned.
"deal."

it was nerve-wracking. only 1 point to see who will win and monoma desperately wanted to win.
it was monoma's turn to hit the puck and he took this to his advantage.
"y/n. i'm going to ask you now." monoma said and you chuckled. "but nobody won yet." you said.
"may i court you?"
you froze and monoma striked the puck straight to win.
monoma grins. "i guess that's a yes."
