Being me doesn't mean to be cute
Being me doesn't mean to have friends
Being me doesn't mean to be myself

Being me does mean to starve
Being me does mean to shatter mirrors
Being me does mean to be alone
Being me does mean to be acting

Being me means to hate myself
With everything I am
And everything I pretend to be
