Remember

I know it's hard but please stop.
I can't help it but to cut you off.
It's troubling me,
It's making me think.

Is this the right choice?
Do I regret?
What did I forget?

I can't, I don't know what it is.
There's a few things I'd like you to remember:
I'm a child, not older than fifteen,
On the inside way younger.
You're looking for help just as much as I do.
Not the only problem I have is that I forget.
But please remember. I'm helpless.
Crying for forgiveness.
Screaming for aid.
For a hand to hold,
For breath to take.

Now I do.
I remember one thing.
Myself.
