An Insurance Policy

An attorney actually contacted me and told me I am needed for the reading of the will of Sherman Samuels. He is coming to Seattle next week for business and he wants to talk to me about what Sherman left me in his will. I ask if he is dead?
Attorney Daniel Smith
Good Lord I think if someone is talking to you about you being left something in a will, that means they are dead duh! I give her my number and tell her to call me back and set up an appointment for next week. I hate this, because this guy was a huge creep to women and she had him incarcerated twice. He left her a million dollar life insurance policy and his assets.
Carrick
Christine called me regarding Sherman Samuels and an attorney Daniel Smith reading a last will and testament leaving her his estate and money from a life insurance policy, she asked me to help her with it. I agreed to attend the appointment with her and review everything, she explained how she knew the decedent and that Stephanie is his child from rape and she wants to make sure her daughter never finds that out. I have to say and did to Elliott and Christine that if I were to choose anyone for Elliott to marry while he and a female to marry in Vegas she definitely would be a good choice. Even Grace likes  Christine, Stephanie wants Elliott to adopt her so she is a Grey as well. Elliott and Christine are discussing it and asked me to look into it, now that Sherman is dead.
Grace
I am not exactly happy about a Vegas wedding, but it is a very nice person whom we have embraced as a family member already along with her daughter Stephanie. I know Elliott and Kate have no future, after all they were always arguing and all of us were getting tired of the same arguments over and over again.
Christian
Elliott getting married in Vegas is not shocking at all, at least it was someone the family know and considers a family member. Anastasia said she thinks they are a pretty good match for each other.
Attorney Smith
I finally meet with Christine Blair Grey and she has brought an attorney who is now her father in law. Carrick Grey is here and they are the only ones at the reading of the will. Sherman Samuels was a real creep and I somehow don't think his death was quite the drunken driving accident it was made to look like. I saw the photos of the accident scene and something was off about it. Like tire marks were missing. That could have been because the area where he went over had a lot of footprints when they arrived to check where the car went over. He had a lot of enemies. I still can't understand why he left her all he left her a home, a couple of cars, accounts and a million dollar life insurance policy.
Carrick
I look over the documents and there doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary in it. So we both go over one point at a time with Smith and finally after almost two hours we find out everything we need to know concerning the accounts the assets and how we can get everything in Christine's name. We finally get everything done and she really doesn't want to deal with his home or vehicles. I make arrangements for someone to handle those and we have the cashiers checks for all the accounts and life insurance policy.
Christine
I ask Carrick to create a trust for Stephanie and any other children I might have. The home and cars will be sold as quickly as possible and put toward a college fund for Stephanie. I don't want anything from the man, but his child deserves what he has left behind.
Elliott
I have asked Christine and Stephenie to move into my home and am building a play area for any children we might have. We decided to make this marriage work even if we were drunk when we did it, we liked each other from day one, but I was seeing Kate. I am liking being married to Christine and having a daughter. Dad is handling the adoption and mom wants a big party to celebrate our marriage. I told her just family and friends and that is all we need at the party. I am sure Kate won't be there at all. Shelia definitely won't be there, Thomas ended things with her.
Stephanie
I am going to be a Grey and Elliott is going to be my father legally. Mom told me my real father was not a good person, but he gave her me and she is grateful for that. She told me he died in a car crash recently. She explained that he left her things in his will and she was going to have to deal with it. He apparently was cremated due to the type of crash he was in. I get to choose what my room will look like and my furniture and Elliott is creating a play area for me out in his backyard. I will have grandparents now. Aunts and uncles now.
Anastasia
Christine has asked Grace to keep it simple as far as the celebration of her and Elliott's marriage family and friends only and they want to celebrate the Elliott adopting Stephanie as well. She is just so happy to have him as a father, she was always a little lost when all the other children had fathers and she had one that she had never met and would never be allowed to meet for legal reasons. Sadly we know the true story of Stephanie's creation and we don't think about that ever. She is an innocent in all of it. She is a wonderful child and we all love her and she is now legally family. She was already family to all of us and her mother was family soon after we met her.
