There's a place of Ocean Avenue

Where I used to sit and talk with you

We were both 16 and it felt so right

Sleepin all day

Stayin up all night

There's a place on the corner of Cherry Street

We would walk on the beach in our bare feet

We were both 18 and it felt so right

Sleepin all day

Stayin up all night

If I could find you now

Things would get better

We could leave this town

And run forever

Let your waves crash down on me

And take me away

Ashton's POV

Luke had just finished his pancakes. I didn't eat anything, but that was what he was expecting. There was a littl glimmer of sadness for a moment when I put down the plate infront of him, while I just sat down empty handed.

"We should play truth or dare," Luke suggested.

I felt a bit apprehensive, "Isn't that a party game fuck-boys use to sleep with someone?"

"Nah, I mean, yes, however-"

"And I'm not letting you dare me to eat something."

Luke pursed his lips. Yep, he was definitely going to do that.

"Okay what about just truth or truth, where we just ask questions that we have to answer," He gave an ammended suggestion.

"I can go for that," I agreed.

"And if you really don't want to answer a question, you don't have to. I'm not trying to force you to tell me literally everything." Luke seriously is a good guy.

I smiled and nodded, "I understand, same for you."

"Where do you want to go?" Luke asked.

I thought for a moment. A part of me wants to be in my room, just because anything could happen, but I know I shouldn't plan on losing my virginity today. I told him we can go on the couch.

We sat criss-cross-applesauce right across from each other, our knees touching. I could easily kiss him at any point, and that gave me an idea.

"Wait, what if we make this more interesting?"

He raised an eyebrow, "Alcohol?"

"Well, we could do that too, but I was thinking, what if each time you willingly answer a question, you get to kiss the other person. If you don't answer that question, no kiss," I explained my idea.

He smiled, "I like that, like, a lot."

I giggled. Gosh what is he doing to me?

"And as for the alcohol-"

"No, I like your idea a lot better. We don't need alchohol. We're underage anyway," Luke cut me off. I was sort of grateful, but also found it funny that he didn't want to drink just because we're not old enough.

"Good cause alcohol has calories and I also dont want to get drunk on day one of being together," I admitted. His expression changed, and that's when I realized I said we were together.
