"May I have the next dance?"

No One's POV

Everyone invited to the ball prepared that night putting on their grandest entire and outfits fit for such an occasion.

Allura wore her blue and white dress with some pink(The dress she wears in Voltron). Pidge dressed up in a dress dress while Romelle wore a yellow and white dress. It seemed as if almost everyone in Garrison Town was invited to the manor. 

Immediately and right away Pidge was swept away by Lance McClain who insisted on dancing with her. Allura couldn't help but watch her sister dance with Mr. McClain in awe as she saw her sister smile like never before and laugh so much her cheeks must be sore, but didn't phase her.

Meanwhile Keith Kogane was debating in his head the words his friend Lance had given him before the ball. 'Loosen up' and 'Relax'. Keith has never had a chance to relax or loosen up with the Blade of Marmora. It's not something he's use to. It's not something he can easily do on command. It certainly wasn't something Keith wanted to do knowing Lotor was probably nearby.

Allura's POV

Seeing Pidge so happy, made me so happy even though I wasn't the one dancing with the boy of my dreams. I was however looking around for Sir Lotor. However I worried he may not show because of Mr. Kogane's presence is imminent.

A throat being cleared caught my attention. I turned around to see Lotor standing in a suit nice and tall. His white hair pulled back behind his shoulders, except for one strand that remained.

"You made it." I said.

"I did promise."

"I just thought with Mr. Kogane he may have kept you away." I replied.

"If he doesn't want to be near me then he should leave." I admire how Lotor can dare to talk like that of Mr. Kogane. He'd be outraged. No one would dare talk like that of Kr. Kogane or to him for that matter.

"Allura." I heard Griffon's voice. "Have you forgotten our dance?"

Right. I came here with Griffon not Lotor.

"No I haven't." I replied.

"It's alright." Lotor said, "Go." He insisted every so politely. Something I'm sure Mr. Kogane would never do considering he'd never give me or possibly any other girl the time of day.

Keith's POV

I haven't seen Lotor which I'm glad I've avoid him or he avoids me. However, I am rather bored as Lance is off dancing with Ms. Holt. But I must say it's nice to see Lance so happy. It's when he with her that he seems most happiest and that he shows feelings I've never seen him display towards any other girl.

Something that caught my eye was the very stunning warrior Allura. She truly is boundless. Although she seemed very uncomfortable dancing with whoever she was dancing with. I will admit, a part of me didn't like how she danced with someone else but I had to remind myself she wasn't bound to me. In fact we have a pretty odd relationship of hate. 

So I decided to ignore it. Even with Lance's words echoing in my head. I continued to wonder around the ballroom.

Allura's POV

Griffon keeps speaking of marriage. Marriage that my mother spoke to him about. Of course I never agreed to it, but my mother might have said yes for me. I'm not one to think of marriage. It's never come to mind. I mean sure when I was younger, I could imagine myself growing up getting married to my true love, but that's nothing but a story.
