She was my dream come true.
I spent 3 years at Vanderbilt before I got drafted in the MLB.
Sam was finishing off her senior year at Tennessee playing softball and I was starting my first year in the MLB.
I proposed to her the night I got drafted, she said yes.
We plan on marrying once she graduates, she is already planning the wedding.

4 years later.
Having a kid is a lot of work, our daughter looks more like Sam then I ever thought was possible.
We named her Josephine. She is 2 weeks old and I already plan on introducing softball as soon as possible well as soon as Sam lets me, she get's very mama bear like.
Where ever life takes us and whatever adventure comes our way, I finally realized baseball isn't really the game of life, love is.
