The masked sniper pt2

Loki POV

"How many times do I have to tell you? I don't know anything!" The women slammed a fist on the table. Steve just calmly nodded in defeat.

The interrogation had been going on for about half an hour now. I watched by the glass with my arms crossed. Before she had woken up from her unconscious state I had been digging through her mind for answers, but none came. Maybe she really didn't know who she's working for.

I got pulled out of my thoughts when the soldier walked out of the room, closing the metal door shut behind him.

"She's just saying the same thing over and over." Steve rubbed his temples.

"Well, you've been asking the same thing over and over anyway." I shortly replied.

"That's fair. I'm going to take a nap." He sighs tiredly and headed off.

I turned back to the girl alone in the room, she had her feet on the table and her head leaned against her crossed arms. With a deep breath I opened the door, the girl jumped a little upon my sudden presence.

"Is this interrogation not over? Had I not repeated myself enough to get it in your dumb skulls?"

"This isn't an interrogation." I replied and took a seat in front of her.

"Going rogue I see? Mr criminal."

I ignored her words. "I want to know why you got transferred to that base that day. How did Hydra realise that we were coming?"

She raised a brow, then snorted out loud. "It's just a coincidence that my crew got transferred to that area when the avengers decided to raid the place."

"It wasn't a coincidence." I spoke firmly. "The base was completely empty, there wasn't anything or anyone left besides your crew. More than that, we even found bombs hidden under the basement."

The sniper's eyes widened at my last sentence, her face turned pale. "W-What..? Bombs in the..?"

"You don't know about it? Then that makes my theory right after all." I paced around. "Hydra had already long abandoned the place. You were only transferred there to stall time for the bombs to be set off when we were there."

"So that means.."

"That means they had left all of you to die, just to bring us down with you."

I left the room a while ago, leaving the hydra member to recollect her thoughts and emotions. It wasn't confirmed that Hydra had really transferred them just to use them to stall us. But from all the information we've gathered, it's safe to say that my intuition wasn't wrong. By the time Stark had found those bombs, it had already been ticking for quite some time. We were lucky to be able to deactivate it before it goes off.

Another useless raid. They had already known we were coming a long time ago if they had managed to pack up all their things and planned a transfer a day before we arrived. There could be a mole in the building...

The door opened before me as I stepped into the room.

"Stark."

"Holy fucking jesus LOKI!" Tony almost jumps out of his seat. "DON'T ASGARDIANS KNOW HOW TO KNOCK?!" He threw a wrench at me.

I caught it before it could hit my face, holding my arms up in surrender. "I'm just here to share some new info I've discovered."

Tony crosses his arms and glared at me as I continued.
