*warning: Loki episode 2 spoilers!*

I've rewatched Loki episode 2 so many times that I've memorised almost every word 🌚👌

Loki POV

I strode along the gardening aisle in silence with B-15. Our footsteps echoing throughout the seemingly empty store.

"I for one am glad we're getting to spend this time together." I broke the silence.

"Quiet!" She hushed me.

"I'm just saying I think we got off on the wrong.."

"Shh."

Our attention was drawn towards a bunch of clinking noises. We looked at each other, then proceeded ahead with caution.

"Hey." B-15 called out as soon as we came across a man at one of the aisle. She pointed the pruning device to the man who automatically had his hands up in the air.

"Whoa, whoa. It's okay." He said.

"What are you doing?" She questioned the man.

"I'm just.. shopping for plants."

I looked at him confused. "In this storm?"

"Well it's a hurricane sale.. Azaleas are half off."

I squinted my eyes at him, and just a few days ago I tried to rule over these dull creatures.

"Could that be you?" B-15 asked without letting her eyes off the man.

"I mean, I probably would have worn a suit but, yes maybe." I whispered back.

Slowly, we approached the man. As soon as B-15 reaches out to grab him, his form slumped over and fell to the ground.

"Is he dead?"

"No. They usually survive." B-15 answers. As she turned around, she had a whole different look on her. Her chin was up high with her hands clasped behind her back with a big smile on her face. "So, you're the fool the TVA brought in to hunt me down."

I raised a brow. "Me, I presume."

"Please. If anyone's anyone, you're me." She said, and gave a big cunning smile.

I smiled back. "How nice to meet you." I said sarcastically.

"Enchantment is a clever trick. Cowardly, a bit amateurish but clever."

I followed the variant as we walk down aisle by aisle.

"Almost as cowardly as working for the TVA." She shot back.

"I'm working for me." I smiled.

The variant scoffed. "You really believe that don't you?"

She chuckled. "And here I was worried that they had found a better version of me."

After the variant finishes, a man appeared, he seemed to be a staff of Roxxcart.

"Hi are you looking for the disaster shelter?" He asked nicely.

"No." the variant replied shortly, grabbing his arm and enchanting him instead.

B-15 fell to the ground unconscious. I tried to grab her but my eyes shot back to the variant. He began to walk away but I went down to check on the TVA member.

"Oh bless. Are you going to call your little friends for help?" The variant chuckled and walked away.

I couldn't just leave B-15 here but I needed to at least find out who the variant was after going through so much work. I got up to my feet and continued to follow him.
