Izuku stays in the classroom for another minute or so before he decides to exit it.
He's cautious as he walks through the school. Every now and then, he looks behind his back.
You never know when Kacchan might pop out of nowhere to attack you.
Thankfully, Kacchan's nowhere to be seen, and Izuku makes it out of the school untouched.
Let's just hope it stays this way as I walk onward home.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It does.
Izuku is beyond relieved as he enters his home without a single scratch.
Remind Izuku again why he hasn't sicced Shoto on Kacchan again?
Right.
Because Izuku wants to keep Shoto out of harm's way.
Kacchan is strong. Stronger than anyone Izuku knows their age.
Shoto wouldn't stand a chance.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Izuku enters his bedroom and lies on his bed, his first impulse is to send Shoto a text message.
I mean, we're dating now, right? Like. When two people are dating, they're supposed to talk to each other at least once a day, right?
Yeah. Fundamentally speaking, Izuku doesn't know how all this stuff works.
But he decides to send Shoto a message regardless.
Shoto beats Izuku to it, though.
How was your day, Midoriya?
Izuku won't lie. Seeing such a pure question from his boyfriend after a long day at school has Izuku's heart thumping.
To quote Plato, the madness of love is the greatest of heaven's blessings.
