I'll Love You For Eternity

Gon watched as the water swayed back and forth. He sighed and looked out at the vast sea. Water splashed on him and he peered down to see jumping dolphins. Gon giggled as he watched them jump happily. Just then Gon heard a faint chirping. Turning around he followed the sound of chirping from a box to crates. Moving them with ease Gon saw a chirping bird.

Gon smiled at it, "Oh, hello. What are you doing out here?" The bird chirped and looked up at Gon. Gon then noticed its broken wing. "Oh no... Your wing...," Gon frowned

Gon slowly reached out to the bird and surprisedly it stayed still. Taking notice of its feathers It was a bright yellow. It was a canary. The bird chirped as Gon smiled at it. Gon then sat somewhere and placed it in his lap. Reaching into his backpack Gon brought out some bandages. Ripping it up Gon slowly started to wrap the bird's wing. It stayed still as Gon treated it.

Once Gon was done he smiled at it, "All done!" The bird chirped in response making Gon laugh.

Just then the bird's wing started to flap surprising Gon. The bird began to fly and circled around Gon's head. Gon followed it and stood up as it started to fly away. Suddenly it changed into a golden eagle. Gon wasn't sure if he saw it right and rubbed his eyes. But once he looked back up it was gone. Gon quickly shook it off and resumed looking out at the ocean.

There was a tale which told about a shapeshifter. Her name was Canary and she was a loyal servant to the Zoldycks. Canary could change into anything, but she was most well-known for taking the shape of birds. And most of the time she was depicted as a bright yellow canary. She played a role in many stories as she also played a role in the death of Killua's lover. She was the one to spot his dying lover from above along with Illumi. If it weren't for her Killua and his lover's promise could have never been made. And although she was seen as a traitor to the Zoldycks she still stays by Killua's side as a loyal friend.

Once the ship stopped Gon got off only to hop onto an airship. Gon was amazed as he looked out the window with sparkling eyes. Everything was so new to him it was fascinating. The clouds looked so soft that Gon just wanted to reach out and touch them. It would take overnight to reach the Republic of Padokea where Kukuroo Moutain was but Gon didn't mind. Gon was even more entranced when the sun started to set. He watched as the sun slowly descended leaving only the moon and stars to light the sky. Gon yawned to himself as he leaned against the window. Slowly closing his eyes Gon fell asleep

"You're so slow!" A voice laughed and echoed

Gon saw he was running and chasing the person in front of him. He then realized it was the same person from his dream. A sudden yearning to see the person's face again overcame him. Gon grinned, "Just wait! I'll catch you!"

The person laughed in response. "Sure you will! You're never able to catch me anyways!" They teased

Gon laughed as he ran faster reaching out to the boy. The boy then turned a sharp corner throwing him off. Gon tripped and fell on his face. Gon sat up and groaned with dirt on his face, "Ugh..."

The person came running back and kneeled down, "Gon are you ok?" Gon was shocked the person said his name. "Gon, I asked if you're ok?"

Gon snapped out of his daze and smiled, "Yeah I'm fine."

Although Gon couldn't see the boy's face like last time just his presence was comforting. Gon then saw a delicate white flower near his feet. Picking it he placed it in the boy's hair. The boy turned away as if he blushed. He then turned back to Gon and cupped his face. Gon leaned into his hand and smiled. The boy's hand was oddly soft and smooth. He then wiped the dirt on Gon's cheek with his thumb.
