Gon walked outside still sniffing and wiping away his tears. He sighed and took in the fresh air. Walking down the path there was a fork in the road. One path leads to the market and village and one to the river and flower fields. But for some strange reason, Gon took the path leading to the river and flower fields. Walking down the path he could hear his heartbeat quickening. He didn't know why but something was telling him to come that way. Once he reached the river a voice told him to make his way toward the flower fields.

Once he got there something was off, suddenly he saw it. A boy with snow white hair and pale skin was laying in the field. Gon ran up to the boy dropping everything.

He kneel down and shook the boy, "Hello! Are you alright?"

The boy groaned and rubbed his eyes, "Huh...?"

Gon sighed, "Thank goodness!"

The boy finally sat up, "Oh... I must have fallen asleep." Gon was right in his face making the boy push Gon away and blush. "Ah! I'm sorry!" The boy shouted right after

Gon giggled as he sat up, "No, no, it's alright. Their eyes locked and it was like the world froze for a second. Gon noticed the boy's bright blue eyes similar to the cat's. Snapping out of it Gon grinned, "Oh! I haven't seen you around before! Are you traveling?"

"Not really," The boy laughed

"Huh?" Gon said tilting his head, "What do you mean?"

The boy smiled mischievously, "I ran away from home."

"What!? Why?" Gon asked

The boy shrugged, "My parents are assholes."

"Oh..." Gon said with a sad expression

The boy quickly spoke up, "But it's fine! It's not like they're going to care anyways!"

But that just saddened Gon's expression more, but a warm smile showed up on Gon's face, "If you ever need a place to stay, you can stay with me."

The boy smiled back, "Thanks, but I'll probably have to go home by the end of the day anyways."

"So, have you been around here before?" Gon asked

"Nope!" The boy replied

"Really?" Gon asked, "Do you want me to show you around?"

"Sure why not."

Gon quickly stood up and reached out his hand. The boy slowly took his hand and stood up. To Gon's surprise, he was much taller than he thought. Still having the boy's hand intertwined with his, he led them out of the field. He reached for his basket of flowers and began walking down the path.

"Just this way!" Gon smiled, "Oh! I almost forgot! My name is Gon!"

"Killua," The boy replied

"Like the God?" Gon questioned

"Yup," Killua replied, "My parents are just weird like that."

"Well I think it's a nice name," Gon replied

"Thanks," Killua chuckled

It wasn't till they reached the entrance of the market that Gon noticed his hand was still connected with Killua's. "Ah! Sorry!" Gon blushed

Killua laughed, "It's alright."

Gon was still blushing as he spoke, "This is the village. Today is market day so it'll be quite busy."

As they walked into the village it was bustling with life. People chatting, shouting out sales, and whatnot. Gon waved toward an old lady, "Hello Granny!"
