It was another day and Gon awoke before dawn. Yesterday's training was vigorous, and today wouldn't be any better. Gon's body ached, it was sore all over. There were no breaks whatsoever. Kite himself was the hardest part though. He ordered Gon to do multiple tasks, at the same time. It didn't make it any easier that Kite happened to be a notorious warrior.

But as the days went on Gon started to get the hang of it. Both mentally and physically Gon changed. His build was a bit bulkier and it was as if his mind was much clear. He could register everything within a second, his reaction time being quicker than ever. Not only that but he could feel his power coursing through his veins. After each trial Gon's body was no longer soar, completing each task with ease. Even so, he couldn't help but worry about the indescribable throbbing rising up from inside his body.

Today though was a bit different as Gon noticed they were taking a different path than normally, "Where are we going, Kite?"

"You'll see," Kite replied not bothering to give Gon any details

Gon shrugged, the leaves under his feet crinkled as they neared a clearing in the forest. There sitting in the middle of it was a blond girl sipping a cup of tea. Once she heard them approach she set her teacup down and cleared her throat. Getting up on her feet she brushed down her skirt and greeted them with a smile.

"Hello there," She blew her head a bit, "You must be Gon. It's great to meet you."

"Oh hello!" Gon replied still confused about who this girl was, "Erm, who are you?"

The girl smiled as she walked up to them, "The name is Bisky. I assume you know that name."

Gon still had a dumbfounded expression, "No...?"

Her face soured, "Bisky? Do you know that 'All Mighty Bisky'?

Gon shook his head, "Nuh-uh."

Kite sighed putting a palm to his forehead, "Bisky the Goddess of Strength."

"Oooh! That's who you are!" Gon exclaimed, "Wait why do you look like that."

"Look like what?" Bisky said narrowing her eyes

"Like so young," Gon replied

Bisky's face brightened immediately as she put a hand to her cheek, "Ah! You flatter me too much!"

Kite rolled his eyes, "Alright introductions are over. I think it's time to explain what all your training was for."

"Ah yes," Bisky said clasping her hands together

Kite turned to Gon, "This might be the last time see each other."

"What!?" Gon's expression scrunched up

"I did my job. Trained you to the best I could be," Kite solemnly said, "It's been a month now Gon, you're ready. This is the last thing you need to do."

"But-! What's gonna happen to you?" Gon began to say, "Will-Will I ever see you again!?"

"I don't really know," Kite replied, "But I'll show up when you really need it. I just hope it's not so soon from now."

With a hard expression, Gon nodded his head, "Alright. Bye then."

"Alright," Kite turned around and started to walk away, but he was stopped by arms being wrapped around his waist

"I'll miss you," Came out muffled as Gon buried his face in Kite's back

Kite smiled and turned around to see tears streaming down Gon's face, "I'll miss you too."

Gon let him go and stared at the floor refusing to look at him, "Okay, I'm ready. You can go."

Kite ruffled his hair, "You'll do just fine. I believe in you."
