Killua sat in front of his father staring him dead in the eyes. His father closed his eyes for a second before laying his cold eyes on Killua, "Son, how have you been."

"I've been great," Killua faked a smile

"Return home, son," Silva stated, "We all miss you."

'Son' echoed in Killua's head, 'You could care less about me, damn bastard'. "Is that so?" Killua chuckled, "Because it seems like you just want me here because I am the designated heir."

"I suppose that is true," Silva replied, "But getting to the point. Your behavior son has been getting out of control."

There it was again, that word 'son'. Killua hummed, "Nothing I did was wrong."

"You broke the rule," Silva's eyes were burning holes into Killua. Any normal person would already collapse from the pressure, "Not once but twice. Tell me Killua, what is it that you see in this boy?"

"The most perfect thing in this damn universe," Killua replied his eyes darkening challenging his father's glare

"Perfect you say?" Silva chuckled, amused by Killua's comment, "Killua, I'm sure you are aware that this lover of yours is no ordinary human."

"Of course, he isn't ordinary," Killua replied tilting his head slightly, "Why do you think I'm so drawn to him."

"I'd appreciate it if you just admit it Killua," Silva sighed, "We know he is a child of both a mortal and god, a demigod."

"And what made you come to that conclusion?" Killua pressed, sass obviously present in his voice

"A wave of godly essence was sourced back to your home," Silva said his tone clearly irritated from Killua's prior sass, "Everyone felt it, so don't try to deny it."

"Fine, so what if he's a demigod? He might not even be the child in the prophecy for all that we know. And even if he was, there would be no better way to die than by his hands," Venom followed Killua's words as he spoke, but he quickly toned it down, "Plus, you'll never get your hands on him."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that," Silva commented, "We currently have that angel and the God of Health imprisoned at this moment. If you don't want them tortured tell us where the boy is."

"I think I'll pass," Killua replied with a shrug

Chains from the ground immediately wrapped around Killua's feet and arms. Silva stood up as Killua grinned, "I'll never tell you where he is and I know they won't either."

"Fine, so be it. Your trial will be two weeks from now," He watched as the ground under Killua began to sink, as it lead to the dungeons

Killua closed his eyes, 'Gon, please be safe".

"Excuse me," Gon said sitting down by the river bank next to Kite, "You said you knew my dad?"

Kite was currently fishing as he turned to Gon, "Yes, I assume you're asking me because you want to know his name."

"Yes," Gon replied quickly eager to learn his father's name

"Ging," Kite replied staring at his reflection in the flowing water, "The God of Restoration."

Ging. The God of Restoration. He was a god that wandered the world fixing the broken. From old ruins to wrecked towns, when the god Ging passed all was good again. He was labeled as a great god who could fix anything. But at last, his powers could do only so much. Ging was rumored to have a mortal lover, but after an unfortunate accident, she passed. Although being the God of Restoration, he could not restore life. Ging fell into a pit of despair. Ging wondered what good was being a god when you couldn't even fix or protect what was most precious to yourself. Therefore he abandoned his duty as a god. And to this day Ging's whereabouts remain unknown.
