Chapter sixteen

I sat at my desk in my apartment, just about done editing Wren's new york video. Which was good because it was an hour to eight o'clock and I still had to get ready for the party..I was also grateful that Wren wasn't home right now..I looked over the last clip from Wren's memory card, it was him and his friends partying..there was a bunch of girls, Wren then began filming on twerking on him, I felt my jaw clench for a moment, if you're going to make your girlfriend your editor at least make sure you don't film stuff like this. I shut the laptop in annoyance, fuck I hate him, being with him now was just a big waste of my time..I stood up from my chair and made my way to my bedroom. I began to grin as I remembered Colby and I laying there together, I picked up my phone and began texting him.

Iris: You need to come over again soon..

Colby: im glad you're still thinking about that ;)

Iris: cya later

I made my way to my closet, looking over at my options, I glanced at my black corset with a grin, Colby could definitely like this..My thoughts were interrupted by someone clearing their throat, causing me to turn to the door.
"Fuck you scared me." I grabbed my chest as I realized it was Wren, who else did I expect?
"Did you edit the video?" He raised an eyebrow, he had zero emotion on his face, how could I have ever fallen in love with this monster?
"I did, it's almost done.." I turned back to my closet, looking down at my jeans now.
"You aren't going out until you finish that video." His voice sounded stern and I turned to him with an annoyed look, "You're not the boss of me Wren."
"I pay you to edit my videos don't I? I need it done by tomorrow." He crossed his arms,
"Then i'll finish it in the morning. Stop being such an asshole." I rolled my eyes, "I don't like how much Cassie is influencing you to party these days.." He began, causing me to roll my eyes again,
"Im not going out with Cassie, i'm going out with Kat. She invited me to a party at her place." I picked my Corset out of my closet this time, picking up a pair of light mom jeans. Wren's eyes widened,
"A party with Katrina Stuart and a corset? Is Colby going to be there? Who am I kidding, of course he is, he lives with them. What are you planning on doing tonight? Have I not been keeping enough of a close eye on you?"
"Oh my god, shut up Wren." I began walking to our bathroom and he gripped onto my arm tightly,
"Im coming with you." I pulled away from him abruptly, "Don't grab me like that. And fine, do whatever you want." I spat, making my way out of there, I rushed into the bathroom and locked the door quickly. Great, now he's coming with me, I should've lied about where I was going again. Fuck.

Wren held onto my waist very tightly as we stood before the trap house door. It was painful to show up this way, I hope Kat wouldn't have too many questions. The door opened widely and Kat's face dropped as she realized who I was with.
"Hi Izzy..and hello Wren.." She mumbled, I smiled, "Hey."
"Sup." Wren nodded at her, he then brushed past her, pulling onto my waist as I followed him, I looked back at her and frowned. The loud music hit my ears as Wren pulled me into the living room.

I felt someone touch my arm and I turned to them, Kat's eyes met mine and I shot her a look of relief.
"Hey Wren, i'm just going to steal Izzy here, we'll come back with a drink for you!" She smiled widely. Wren shrugged, and we rushed out of the living room, making our way into the kitchen.
"Why..are you here with your ex..?" Kat asked me as we stood in the kitchen, she was pouring alcohol into red solo cups for us. "It's such a long story..." I sighed, "I thought you'd want to come to maybe hook up with Colby again though.." She furrowed her eyebrows, "Trust me, so did I.." I looked down at the solo cups being filled with a mixer. I then felt someone touch my waist, causing me to turn around, and my eyes met his. I raised my arm to his chest and pushed him away from me, causing a look of disappointment to grow on his face.
"Wren forced me to take him with me.." I leaned into his ear and whispered, Colby rolled his eyes harshly, looking away from me. He then walked away from me, it honestly hurt me to see him just walk off without saying a word, but I understood why he was frustrated with me right now.
"Here!" Kat shouted over the music, I turned to her and she handed me two red solo cups. "His is extra strong, make sure he chugs a lot of those! And you too! Let's get wasted!" She grinned widely.
I brought my cup up to my lips and began chugging it, causing Kat to clap happily.
"Let's make this night unforgettable.." I grinned as I placed the cup back down onto the island.

and oh boy, did I ever make this night unforgettable.
