Chapter seventeen

I felt myself get drunker by the minute, the party was loud and very crowded with over a hundred people in the mansion. Colby and Wren stood beside me as we cheered and clinked our shot glasses with at least ten other people, Kat and Sam included. I brought the shot glass to my lips and swallowed the harsh liquid quickly, feeling myself get loopier.
Colby still hadn't said anything to me tonight and that made drunk Iris really upset, I turned to him as we placed our shot glasses down but Wren pulled me to him, "These people are cool, im upset I haven't been invited to their parties before.." He smiled widely, "I understand why you like to party with Kat." He licked his lips as he looked over at her and I felt myself gag at his actions. "Tell me about it." I dryly replied over the loud music.
"Izzy! Come with me!" Kat shouted over the music as she grabbed onto my arm, pulling me away from Wren, which I was grateful for, I looked around as we stepped away, and Colby was no longer there..I wondered where he went.

We made our way upstairs as best as we could for two drunk girls, she shoved me into a room i hadn't been in yet and giggled as she shut the door.
"We're putting on my bathing suits and going swimming! Sam and Colby already made their way outside." She made her way to her closet and began pulling out some bathing suits, I sat on her bed.
She handed me a very flimsy black bikini and I began putting it on, and she put on her own.
We rushed downstairs with towels wrapped around us and snuck out before Wren could notice me, the crowd of people definitely helped us be discreet.

We shut the glass door as we made it outside, there was a few people in the yard but not as many as there were inside. I glanced around my eyes searching for him, I was destined for trouble tonight, even with my so called boyfriend less than fifty feet away, I wanted Colby's hands on my body.
My eyes met his as he stood in the pool, and I grinned, his eyes moved from my gaze and I felt myself grow more disappointed than before, I felt Kat hold onto my arm again and she pulled me to the pool.
"Sam, here comes trouble!" Kat shouted as we made our way into the pool, Sam grinned widely at his blue haired girlfriend and I awkwardly watched her swim to him, I stood there and turned to Colby who leaned against the poolside.

"Are you going to speak to me at all..?" I whispered to him, he brought his cup to his lips and took a sip of his drink before responding to me, "I am."
"Stop being a dick. Im so drunk and I keep waiting for you to say something to me.." I whined, a smile made its way onto his lips, giving me some kind of hope, "I'm just being cautious thats all..for your sake."
"I really didn't think he'd want to show up here.." I frowned, making my way closer to Colby.
"You look really good in this bathing suit.. " Colby admitted as he looked down at my body,
"All I want to do is kiss you right now.." I felt myself speak before I thought about it, I was being dangerous. "You're being bad Iris. I like it." He smirked, taking another sip of his drink. I felt his hand slowly make its way to my thigh and grip it tightly, his eyes closed still chugging the drink in his other hand, it was as if he wasn't even touching me, but I felt hungry, I wanted him to take me up to his room right now..
"I think we should go do some more shots! And maybe play some beer pong!" Sam's voice got closer to us and Colby gripped me tighter.
"What do you think Iris?" Kat smiled at me angelically and I nodded, "Sounds fun, Colby be my partner?" I raised an eyebrow, he grinned, "Yeah."

Colby and I beat Kat and Sam at least seven times at beer pong now. Wren was completely wasted on the couch, people were drawing on his face and it made me laugh. What a turn out this night was.
"Fucj off-" Wren's voice made us turn to him, his arm pushing away Jake's as he coloured on his face, Jake turned to us with a disappointed look.
"He's so fucking drunk, I doubt he'll remember any of this tomorrow.." Jake began to laugh,
"Really? Wren! Wren! Watch this!" Colby shouted very loudly, causing a bunch of people to look in his direction, I watched as Wren's eyes opened, he was mumbling and then I felt Colby's hands reach my waist, pulling me into him, his lips crashed onto mine, he began kissing me passionately, the crowd of people began to cheer us on, and I felt another hand grab my arm, pulling me away from Colby, "Fu-fick off." Wren's eyes met mine and I felt myself began to grow very nervous, what was Colby thinking. But Wren just fell back onto the couch, passing out again. "Yeah, fuck that guy!" Colby cheered and Kat and Sam smiled widely, a look of surprise on both their happy faces, I looked over at Colby who looked very amused with himself, I on the other hand grew nervous. Colby's smile slowly faded as he realized I wasn't laughing. He grabbed my hand and leaned in to my ear, "Was that too much? Im sorry.." He whispered, I sighed, not being sure what to respond.
"No one's going to remember that. Especially not him. Dont worry about it.." He reassured me and I nodded, "Come to the bathroom with me?" I raised an eyebrow at Colby, he gripped my hand tightly and began pulling me towards the staircase.
"We'll be back!" Colby told Sam and Kat. Jake and Tara then took our place in the game.

As we made our way up the stairs, passing many people, I began to be grateful that I met Colby. He made me become a whole new person, that I actually liked..I didn't feel like a pushover anymore. As we stepped closer to the restroom, I pulled Colby towards me, leaning back into the wall, he smiled widely and raised his arm above my head, holding the wall behind me. "Don't you have to-"
"Thanks for fucking me.." Colby chuckled, and I shook my head with a laugh, "Sorry, I just mean, thanks for being my friend.."
He rolled his eyes, his other hand raising itself to my cheek, caressing it softly,
"Thanks for being mine.." He spoke as he looked down at my lips and back into my eyes,
"You're really sexy Colby. I know I say it a lot but- holy fuck.." I spoke with passion and Colby smiled, "Fuck, is it bad im starting to like you?" My eyes widened and I gazed into his eyes, "what?"
"Nothing...you're just really cool Izzy..and you really know how to make a guy laugh, you're special." I felt my stomach fill with butterflies as I smiled widely at him, "Shut up and kiss me Colby." I demanded, causing him to lean into me with passion, his fingers running through my hair, kissing me roughly, I was so obsessed with him..
