Chapter twenty one

"I just..pushed you away because I said all that stuff okay? I remember it all.." Colby admitted, his blue eyes avoiding mine. "Thats okay, I get it.."
"And I had that girl here as some kind of distraction I guess..it's kind of weird that she was here for so long without us having sex..I thought maybe she could make me feel the way you do.." He sighed, his gaze meeting mine, "But she didn't..she was just really crappy, she was nothing like you, I don't think I will ever find another girl like you anywhere..and if I did, I don't think she'd make me feel the way you do.." He admitted to me, I felt myself smile softly. It is weird that she was here for days and they never had sex, it could be a lie, I mean Wren was dating me and he cheated on me a whole bunch, but Colby had no reason to lie to me, I trusted him, even if they did have sex, I don't think I could hate him for it.
"Listen..dumping this kind of news on you drunk..wasn't a good move, and i'm sorry I did that, if you wanna stop having sex with me, I completely understand..but can we please still be friends?" Colby now asked me as he played with the string of his hoodie.
"I still wanna be your friend Colbs. Maybe we should pause on the sex huh..? Maybe its driving you crazy.." I giggled, "My pussy game is too strong you're going to fall in love with me.." Colby and I both began to laugh together. We smiled at each other now, "Can I hug you?" I mumbled, he nodded slowly and I immediately climbed into his arms, both of us now laying in his bed, he was very warm and comforting it, it made my heart skip a beat.

I shut my eyes tightly as I let myself enjoy his embrace, I could stay here forever...despite the circumstances, I knew Colby would be in my life for a long time..I knew that for sure.
"Hey..?" I mumbled, causing Colby's head to pull out from my neck, "Hmm?" He mumbled back,
"How about we go exploring tomorrow...somewhere cool.." I asked him, he nodded, "I have just the place in mind..I'll see if Sam and Kat would like to join us." He grinned, "Great..i'm excited.." I smiled widely.
"And today, You wanna stay over, watch a movie? We can have a sleepover, maybe go on a drive later, get some slurpees, order some food?" Colby's words made me want to jump his bones. All the things I love to do. "You know I cant say no to that.."
"But for now, I like this.." I pulled him back into me, cuddling him again, feeling too comfortable in his arms.

After staying in bed for a few hours with Colby and watching some movies we decided to go on a late drive and get some snacks. As we made our way outside rain began falling from the sky, we both got into his car.
"I love rain.." I mumbled as he started the car,
"So do I...do you mind getting wet?" Colby asked me, I shook my head, "I really dont.."
The rest of the drive to the seven eleven was us singing songs from pierce the veil..I really felt glad to be so stress free right now, I mean, any time really with Colby was truly stress free.

We separated once in the seven eleven, both of us grabbing our own snacks, I looked over the chips as I thought about what I wanted to munch on for the night..The sweet chili heat Doritos were catching my eye, I then heard a loud, "boo!" And I jumped, looking back at Colby who now stood behind me,
"Oh my god you're horrible!" I rolled my eyes as he chuckled loudly, "You love it. I got all my snacks!" He smirked, I looked down at his arms holding a bunch of goodies and I then grabbed my chips, holding them with my candy.
"Let's get going." I began walking to the counter as Colby followed from behind, I placed my things on the counter, Colby then put his stuff with mine.
Once the cashier ran our things Colby pulled out his card, paying for everything.

We walked outside back to the car, the rain still pouring onto us. "You didn't have to do that you know.." I told Colby, he shrugged, "my pleasure."
"You're sweet. Thank you Colby.." I smiled, he smiled back at me as he opened up the car door for me, "M'lady." He gestured for me to head in and I smiled widely again, "Thank you gentlemen."

With more road time, was more music time. Many of my favourite songs, which were also Colby's played loudly from the speakers in the car.

Once back at his house, we rushed upstairs, I was cold from the rain wetting my clothes. Colby rummaged through his stuff and pulled out a hoodie and sweat pants for me. "Put these on and I'll put your clothes in the dryer.." He smiled as he handed me the items, I grabbed them gracefully and I began changing, while Colby made his way into bed. I looked over at him after I got changed and he was grinning, "what?" I asked as I climbed into his bed next to him. "Friends don't usually change in front of each other.." I rolled my eyes, "Well, whatever. You should've left the room then.." He chuckled, "I'm just joking around. Pick a movie, i'll be right back." He then hopped out of bed and grabbed my clothes, making his way out of the room. I looked through the movies and began playing halloween.

Colby came back in and climbed back into bed with me, both of us warm under the blankets. He turned to me as I watched the horror movie I loved so much. I turned to him after a moment, his blue eyes meeting my own, "Yes?" I chuckled.
"Sorry." He apologized, turning his head back to the movie, I rolled my eyes and smiled to myself, making my way onto his chest, laying comfortably.
