Lilian

I work up and got out of bed to get ready for school I grabbed my bag and walked downstairs I hear a whisper in the reception I go in to see both my parents are sat down and acting suspiciously like they need to tell me something.

Lilian- *confused look * what's going on?
mum- Lilian I need to tell you something
Lilian - will be quick I'm gonna miss the bus
mum- my Breast cancer is back and I think it better for me to move away for my treatment for a while
Lilian - when were you gonna tell me and when are you leaving
mum- today because I don't want you to beg me to take you your gonna be happier with your father and stepmother
Lilian- well I'm going you've seen me now goodbye

I ran out with tears in my eyes how could she just leave me she is my mother for crying out loud she's leaving today one of the worse days ever on the 20th of September my brother passed away. No one knows Luca except Joyce and my family. Luca was my twin brother we use to do everything together but when he died from a rare heart disease I was broken and so fragile my parents put me up for adoption but then later got me back because they realised that life is too short and they wanted me to have the best life. I walked to the cemetery and sat next to the grave.

"Bubba I miss you so much, there has been a lot that's happened as you may have seen dad and Stefanie are married mum is with Tina remember her. I met a guy his name is Dylan he is very sweet and nice and today of the worse day mums breast cancer back and she left I don't think Stefanie and dad are there for me, I miss you why did you leave"

I kiss my hands and touched his grave then I quickly left so no one notices and went to the bus stop Joyce came running towards me

Joyce - oh my god Lilian what's wrong?
Lilian - my mums leaving she's going to move away and the worse part is her cancer is back and it's Luca's you know Lilian don't cry did you say bye
Lilian - I just screamed at her and walked out
Joyce - you need to say goodbye because your gonna regret it and don't worry you have all of use when is she leaving
Lilian - I don't now

I calmed down and walked we sat on the bus I just thought of everyone and how I will miss my mother a tear was gonna fall but I wiped it away. Joyce, Armani and Dylan were talking but I couldn't stay focused by what they were saying That's how the whole day went I was dozing in and out and not in the right of mind. I walked with Joyce to the cafe and we started gossiping Tina gave us hot chocolate and then I felt something hit the table I looked up to see Dylan, Armani and their friends throwing things at me and Joyce.

Joyce - hey what are you guys playing at
*The boys started laughing*
Joyce - erg anyways I need to go my mum needs me bye

Joyce left and I got my homework out and start to work on it then Tina walked towards me

Tina- you not going to say goodbye to your mum
Lilian- *shrugs*
Tina- she a cow for leaving us

I can see she looked hurt I knew she didn't mean it then I felt something hit the table again

Tina- you better clean that up or I'm telling your mum *she whispers* he likes you
Lilian - no *blushes*

Tina went to go and serve someone else and then I see only Dylan sitting there I was too busy doing my work when I see someone sit opposite me I look up to see my mum

Mum- hey Lilian
Lilian - haven't you lefts?
Mum- well I'm here to say bye
Lilian - bye now I need to finish my work
Mum - you are the most ... *Lilian confused* beautiful and gorgeous girl ever I know today isn't the best day to leave because of Luca and I know you don't mean what you say sometimes but you promise me you will work hard you can come down if you want and you can call me whenever you want and I will be there any time I'm always going to be here.

Lilian-*in tears* mum I'm gonna miss you so much please stay why do you have to leave especially the day Luca was gone I'm gonna lose you

I hugged my mum and she kissed me and then I sat back and looked up trying to stop cry but I felt my tears sliding down I hear a clink of something hitting the table I looked left to see Dylan with a smile and a big cookie I smiled at him and quickly cleaned my tears

Dylan - it's okay your gonna be fine
Lilian - am I though
Dylan - trust me you have me and everyone is here for you, you won't feel alone.

We got up and Dylan walked me home like a gentleman and we said our goodbyes I gave him a little cheeky kiss on the cheek and then walked into an empty house I slide down with my back on the wall and close my eyes as tears drip down.

Flashback

Lilian and Luca are four years old in cute little onesies they are running upstairs to hide as their mum is looking for them

Luca - come let's hide under the bed
Lilian - but bubba I'm scared
Luca - don't worry I'm behind you quick mums coming

They got under the bed

Mum- hmm where are the little monsters
*giggle was heard*
Mum- where are those giggles coming from

Katie slowly went towards the bed as the sound of little angels giggle were heard she pulled them both and tickled them

Luca - mum- haha -my haha stop
Lilian- mummy haha noooo

As the giggles brought Lilian back to her flashback

I got up and wiped my tears away and I went to bed with the thought of mum and Luca.
