Brad is packing his suitcase when Katherine walks in.
"What are you packing for?" She ask.
"I have to go on a business trip. I got the call this morning." Brad lies. He's actually going out-of-town with Renee. He knows it's wrong, but Renee makes him feel differently than his wife does, or ever did. His wife wasn't as feisty as Renee.
"So you aren't going to the girls dance competition? You know it's Natalie's first competition, right?" Katherine says.
"That's this weekend?" Brad ask. He actually had no idea that the girls had a competition this weekend.
"God, Brad. That's all Natalie has been talking about." Katherine says. "I guess I know what's important in your life right now." Katherine mumbles.
"What did you say? My family is important. I have to work. If I don't work, how would I afford this house, the food on our plates, the clothes you are wearing, don't you ever say you know what's important to me again." He says backing her up to a wall and slapping her. She puts her hand to her cheek and has fear in her eyes. She then let's two years slip out of her eyes.
"I am so sorry. I have no idea why I did that. I'll stay home if you want." Brad says pulling his wife into a hug.
"No, I want you to go now. Have fun." She says pushing him away and going to their bathroom.

Brad arrives at the hotel. The whole way here, he was thinking about how much he hurt his wife and probably his kids. He almost called Renee five times to cancel, but he didn't. He got to their hotel room to see Renee sitting on the bed in nothing but a bra and underwear. He puts his suitcase by hers.
"Let's go somewhere." Brad says.
"I thought all we were going to do was have fun." Renee says winking.
"I just want to take a walk around, get some fresh air, and spend time with you outside of a room or office."
"Ok, let me get dressed." Renee says.
Meanwhile, Katherine is helping Natalie with her make up for the competition.
"Momma, is Daddy coming to the competition?" Natalie ask. Katherine looks into her daughter's eyes.
"Sweetie, your dad is busy with work, okay? He can't be here. I'm sorry." Katherine says choking up as she sees the sadness in her daughter's eyes.
"Oh ok."
"I want you to do your best, though. As the song says, shake your groove thang baby. Promise me, that you'll do your best and show everyone that you are the best 7 year-old dancer ever."
"I promise." Natalie says.
About 2 hours later, the awards are given out.
"And first place in the mini solo division is, Shake by Natalie Moore." The announcer says and Katherine is so happy.
After the awards, Natalie, Natasha, and Katherine go out for a celebration dinner.
Meanwhile, Renee and Brad are taking a walk. They are watching the sunset when Brad pulls Renee in for a kiss. They think they're alone, but someone snaps a picture, Natasha's bully.
