Okay imma be honest with you, that mission was not important... At all. It was just to establish their meeting and how they work together. So now the mission is over and they saved 13 people's lives together so... Yay.. this is a few weeks afterwards. The beginning of this story is set between avengers 1 and iron man 3, so around the time Dark world happens... And in Pepper Potts is a lesbian in this.. because I said so
~Chapter 4~
Hadley rolled her eyes at her mirror. Why did she agree to go to this?
Tony Stark was having a party at Avengers' Tower, Hadley wasn't sure why, she didn't read too far into the small details. But Tony invited her
And for whatever, despite her better judgement, she agreed to go
So here she was, glaring at her dressed up reflection.
She wore a purple dress that complimented her eyes and heals.
Her hair was curled, only a little bit, and pinned back. She wore it down instead of in a pony or under a hat.
Finally she had actually put on makeup
She had to admit... She looked... Pretty good.
But she huffed
She never dressed up
She never wore make up
She never hung out with people
And she certainly never went to parties
Yet here she was, all dressed up and ready to go to one
And knowing Tony Stark, it'd be full of people
Full of strangers
Hadley sighed and clenched the bottom of her skirt
"It's just a party" she said to her reflection, "if all else you can hide in a corner... Away from everyone"
She stared at herself more
"Uuuughh why did I agree to this??" She growled, grabbing her phone and her purse
She checked her phone and saw she had a message from an unsaved number
Party's at 9 don't chicken out on me
Hadley scoffed. Stark. She didn't know why she'd given him her number in the first place.
She saved his contact and went out the door of her apartment.
She locked up and went downstairs.
She didn't live far from the tower but she figured she should drive and not walk so she got in her car
She drove a couple minutes to the tower and her heart dropped in her stomach
"That's... A lot of people.." she mumbled
There were about a hundred people just waiting to get in the door at the bottom of Avengers' tower
